Make sure you’ve got the URL right when you’re trying to visit Parimatch. A smart website would automatically pick up the location that a customer is trying to access it from and direct you to the correct version of its website. UK-based players who try to visit Parimatch.com should automatically be redirected to Parimatch.co.uk. Instead, Parimatch.com displays a notice saying that players from the UK can’t play at the site at all. That’s incorrect – all they need to do is visit the .co.uk version of the site, and everything will be fine. We’re not sure why this happens, but it might have something to do with the organisational structure of the brand. It’s only in the UK that Parimatch sister sites are operated by BV Gaming Limited. Elsewhere, it’s a standalone brand and wouldn’t be considered one of the BetVictor sister sites.
Having dealt with that confusing situation, let’s talk about Parimatch as a website. If you’re looking for BetVictor sister sites, you’re going to find yourself in very familiar territory. The UK-facing version of Parimatch is, for all intents and purposes, a black-and-yellow version of BetVictor. The layout of the website is identical, and you’ll find that most of the content on the site is identical, too. Parimatch, like BetVictor, is a sports betting brand, and its sportsbook appears to cover the same ground. We believe there are minor differences when it comes to odds, and you might occasionally see differences between the promotions at Parimatch compared to the promotions at BetVictor, but we’re talking about tiny, tiny changes.
While there’s no disputing that the sportsbook is the centrepiece of Parimatch, the other thing that Parimatch has in common with BetVictor is that both sites have expanded considerably beyond their original parameters. Parimatch also has casino aspects, including a live casino section complete with real dealers, a standard slots casino, and a “Vegas” section which does bits of both and, to be honest, doesn’t really need to be there. The slots and casino games are all just a sideshow, though – Parimatch markets itself as a football betting specialist, and that’s ultimately how it should be judged. We judge it to be a good one.
It’s not very often that you’ll come to review an iGaming site’s sister sites and have to debate whether or not its sister sites are really sister sites after all. With the BetVictor sister sites, we find ourselves having to do it twice. Heart Bingo is, on paper, eminently qualified to be one of the BetVictor sister sites. If you were to look up the UK Gambling Commission licence of BV Gaming Limited, you’d find Heart Bingo listed there. The problem is that you’d also find it listed on the UK Gambling Commission licence of Gamesys Operations Limited, which is a totally different casino network company. Both operators list Heart Bingo as a white-label casino, which implies they work together on it. It’s a strange partnership and one that may have been born out of BV Gaming Limited’s unfamiliarity with slits and bingo sites as opposed to sports betting sites.
We’re going to talk about Heart Bingo as one of the BetVictor sister sites regardless of its strange licensing status. If you know this brand well, you probably associate Olly Murs with it. He was the face of the brand for many years on television and in print, and although the partnership between the iGaming site and the singer has come to an end, the connection is still there in people’s minds. That’s not to worry, though- as the official bingo and iGaming site of Heart Radio, Heart Bingo has far more celebrity connections to fall back on and promotion avenues to pursue than just Olly Murs. Plus, he’s still represented on the Heart Bingo website thanks to the “Olly Murs Daily Wheel” bonus promotions.
We’re at the risk of pointing out the obvious by saying that the main order of Heart Bingo is bingo, but the quality of the bingo rooms at this site shouldn’t be underestimated. The high public profile of the brand means that it’s been able to persuade some world-class providers to create exclusive titles for it, including Heart Bonanza Bingo and Bubble Wild Bingo. Even though this isn’t technically a slots site, it still has plenty of exclusive slots, including the Heart Make Me A Millionaire Slot Game and, more impressively, Heart Bingo Fluffy Favourites Jackpot. When you can persuade Eyecon to make an exclusive version of Fluffy Favourites for you, you’ve got to have some serious clout in the iGaming world.

BetVictor operator – BV Gaming Limited
We find it hard to draw a line between BetVictor and BV Gaming Limited. You’ll already have worked out what the “BV” in “BV Gaming” stands for – the operator was born out of the success of BetVictor, which has been around since 1946. These days, the company is generally seen as one of the top iGaming companies in Europe, serving more than 150 different countries. Despite its enormous reach, BV Gaming Limited employs fewer people than you probably imagine it does, with just over four hundred people based in strategic offices in London, Gibraltar, and Budapest. That number doesn’t include the people who work in BetVictor shops, as the shops tend to be franchised. There’s a strong degree of separation between the online and offline elements of BV Gaming Limited.
The brief history of both BetVictor and BV Gaming Limited goes like this; the company was founded at a greyhound racing track by William Chandler, who passed it to his sons Victor and Jack after his death. Victor then passed it to his own son, Victor Jr, upon his passing in 1974. It was Victor Jr who moved the headquarters of the company to Gibraltar in 1998, openly admitting he did so for tax purposes. BetVictor was one of the first gambling companies in the UK to make such a move. Having become “VC Bet” in 2004, the company rebranded as “Victor Chandler” in 2008 before finally becoming BetVictor in 2012. In 2014, the company’s long history of family ownership came to an end when major shareholder Michael Tabor assumed control of the business. Outside of their business dealings, you may know BetVictor for its sponsorships of Fulham FC, World Matchplay darts, and several snooker tournaments.
BetVictor Sister Sites Welcome Bonuses
Some sports betting sites don’t have welcome promotions because they feel like the quality of their sportsbook speaks for itself. BetVictor, though, is no ordinary sports betting site. It’s also an online casino, and as such, it feels welcome promotions are warranted. In fact, it has so many welcome promotions that we found ourselves a little confused while trying to get to the bottom of them. Let’s try to take them one at a time.
The first welcome promotion you’ll see listed at BetVictor is the horse racing welcome offer, which offers £40 for everyone who joins BetVictor and places a £10 bet on horse racing within seven days of joining. The bonus is delivered as £30 in free bets (3 x £10) and £10 as a slots bonus. The slots bonus has an x20 wagering requirement attached to it.
Welcome promotion two is a casino welcome offer that delivers £30 plus one hundred free spins for all new players who join BetVictor and spend £10 on “selected games” within seven days of registering an account. The free spins are restricted to Fishin’ Frenzy only, and the £30 (3 x £10) casino bonus has an x40 wagering requirement, which is a little harsh.
BetVictor isn’t content with that. There’s also a Bet Builder Welcome offer for players who are only interested in betting on football. It’s a little more expensive to take advantage of this one; register an account and bet £20 on the football market to get four £10 free bets to be used on the same Bet Builder market.
From there, things just get weirder. There are a further two casino welcome promotions. The first says that you can claim £50 in slot bonuses by joining and spending £10 on “selected games” within seven days of registering an account, and this time it’s delivered as 5 x £10 bets. Another promotion claims that all players who spend £10 on slots within ten days of registration receive three hundred free spins, with no bonus cash attached this time and no stated wagering requirements. These bonuses contradict the other casino welcome promotions, so we’re unclear on which version of the casino bonus players ought to expect.
After seeming to almost go out of its way to confuse players with its welcome promotion, BetVictor then keeps things very simple with its other promotions. The only ongoing promotion at BetVictor is the BV Loyalty Club. If you want to join the club, you first have to formally opt in. From there, you need to place five bets of £5 or more on sports. Every player who does that each week gets to open a mystery box, within which there will be a free bet with a value of between £1 and £25. It’s not the biggest promotion we’ve ever seen, and it’s not a patch on the loyalty rewards we’ve seen at other sports betting sites (albeit not the BetVictor sister sites), but the bonus at least comes without any wagering requirements attached to it.
Top Games at BetVictor
We’ve said that BetVictor is more than “just” a sports betting site and also offers casino games, but the casino games at the site are such a secondary concern that they’re relegated almost to the bottom of the BetVictor homepage. We doubt that anybody comes to BetVictor for slots, but if you do, you can rest assured that the top slots at the site are well-known staples like Book of Dead and Gold Blitz. With that out of the way, let’s talk about the true star of BetVictor – the sportsbook. It’s one of the most popular and best-known in the UK, and it focuses very strongly on football. The next big football fixture will always be front and centre of the homepage, and football-related bet boosts also take up a decent amount of space on the page. Horse racing is next up, with a detailed set of horse racing betting tools underneath the football area. You can bet on almost any sporting matter at BetVictor, though, including darts, futsal, and water polo. The options even extend beyond sports – you can bet on politics here if you’re so inclined.
Customer Support and Licensing
It surprises us that a brand as big as BetVictor doesn’t have telephone-based customer support, but it doesn’t. Instead, customers on the website who need assistance can either use the 24/7 live chat option or fire off an email to [email protected] and get help that way instead. BetVictor is listed on the UK Gambling Commission licence of BV Gaming Limited, no. 39576. In February 2022, BV Gaming Limited was ordered to divest funds and issue a public statement after reaching a settlement regarding a regulatory issue with the UK Gambling Commission. After a review, the Commission determined that the operator had broken multiple licence conditions regarding social responsibility, customer interaction, marketing and the prevention of money laundering. In lieu of a fine, BV Gaming Limited paid £1.7m.
Withdrawal Speed and Support
Players who use standard debit cards to conduct transactions with BetVictor can expect to see their money in their account 2-5 working days after asking for a withdrawal. However, Visa Direct accounts with FastFunds Withdrawals approved should find they receive their money within forty minutes of the transaction being approved. There’s also support for e-wallets, with PayPal, Skrill and Neteller wallet holders receiving funds within 1-3 working days. Because there’s a 24-hour process for withdrawal requests to be processed, instant withdrawals from BetVictor aren’t possible.
Final Thoughts on BetVictor
BetVictor is one of the UK’s best-known and most-trusted bookmakers. It’s adapted flawlessly to the internet age and has expanded during the past few years. There are holes in its armour, though. There’s no good reason why it shouldn’t be providing instant withdrawals, and it should definitely be providing telephone-based customer support. On top of that, the design of the BetVictor website is outdated. It’s good, but there’s plenty of room for improvement.
