Express Wins sister sites 2023

Clover Bingo logo

The popularity of the Irish theme in iGaming is obvious. Some of the best-known and most-played online slots of all time – Rainbow Riches, for example – use the Irish theme. It’s no less popular as a theme for entire casino sites. There are several Irish-themed casinos among the Express Wins sister sites, but Clover Bingo is a little more subtle than most of them. The only real nods to the theme are the green tinge and the use of the word “Clover.” It describes itself as an “Irish casino” all the same, though, and should perhaps be best noted for not featuring a single bingo game on its homepage despite nominally being a bingo site. It’s a weird disconnect between the casino’s name and its function, but several such disconnects exist on the Jumpman Gaming Limited casino platform. We have no idea why.

Great Britain Casino logo

The headquarters of Jumpman Gaming Limited are on the island of Guernsey in the Channel Islands. The island isn’t considered part of the United Kingdom but is considered British. It’s a strange arrangement, but it means that Jumpman Gaming Limited is a British casino operator. That goes some way to explaining why there are several Britain-themed casinos among the Express Wins sister sites. Some of them go deeper with the theme than others. Great Britain Casino keeps things simple by employing a minimalistic style. A red, white and blue colour scheme and the presence of a crown in the casino’s logo are sufficient to set the tone. Beyond the theme, though, there isn’t much here that would persuade us to recommend Great Britain Casino over Clover Bingo or Express Wins. The near-identical collections of casino games at each site make it very hard to separate them.

Kong Casino logo

The themes of the two Express Wins sister sites we’ve looked at thus far are subtle. The theme of Kong Casino is anything but. This iGaming site very obviously takes one hundred per cent of its inspiration from King Kong, the famous giant gorilla from the movies. We know that the owners of the King Kong trademark have licensed their prize asset to individual casino games before, so we’re a little surprised to see that none of those games are prominently featured at Kong Casino. In fact, the game attached to the casino’s welcome offer (by way of free spins) is Big Bass Bonanza, which is fishing-themed and could scarcely have less to do with the legend of King Kong. That’s the only theming misstep at Kong Casino, though, which otherwise looks great and has the distinction of having a guaranteed welcome promotion rather than leaving it all down to the spin of a reel or a wheel.

Cash Arcade logo

If you were to visit the Express Wins sister sites in the order we’ve listed them so far, you’d notice an immediate difference when you arrived on the homepage of Cash Arcade. It’s visibly different from the other sites in the list, as it employs a different template and has a more modern style. While the design of the casino site is modern, the style is deliberately retro. Unfortunately, despite attracting our attention with its sharp looks, Cash Arcade is a little lacking in some important areas. For a start, it only has around five hundred casino games to offer. There are casinos on this network which offer double that amount. The second problem is that the no-deposit welcome offer of five free spins on Chilli Heat is laughably weak. When you consider that anything you might be able to win from those five spins would have to be wagered x65 before it became withdrawable, it’s almost insulting.

BJs Games logo

BJs Games is one of two Express Wins sister sites that share branding with BJs Bingo – a small chain of real-world bingo venues that can be found across the UK but most notably in Leigh, which is close to Wigan. Don’t worry about the name of the other one – we’ll get to it in a moment. BJs Bingo has a website of its own, which sister sites are operated by another casino network, so it’s odd that its two brand extensions have been handed to Jumpman Gaming Limited to design and licence. BJs Games is easily the most impressive of the two sites. It makes as much of a feature out of its extensive range of bingo games as it does of its slots – and it has hundreds of those to offer, too. If you’re wondering why BJs Games offers so many bingo games when BJs Bingo serves the same purpose, don’t worry – so are we.

BJs Arcade logo

We told you that we’d get to the other BJs-branded casino site in a moment, and so we have. This is BJs Arcade. We’ve already given you a hint about what we think of BJs Arcade because we told you that we think that BJs Games is the better of the two sites. Here’s our reasoning. BJs Games, as we said, has hundreds of slots, bingo and casino games to offer, so it feels like a fairly well-rounded casino and iGaming site. BJs Arcade, on the other hand, focuses almost exclusively on slots, with a few table and live dealer games thrown in. The big questions about BJs Arcade are, “Why does it exist?” and “What does it do to differentiate itself from the other Express Wins sister sites?” We’re having a hard time coming up with good answers to either of those questions. BJs Games and BJs Bingo already have everything covered between them – BJs Arcade feels a little pointless.

Swanky Bingo logo

If you were paying attention to what we said about Clover Bingo, which was the very first of the Express Wins sister sites we’ve looked at in this list, you can already guess most of what we’re about to say about Swanky Bingo. Pat yourself in the back if you just guessed that we’re going to tell you there are no bingo games here because you’re absolutely right. That’s not the only issue we have with Swanky Bingo, though – our other problem with the site is that it’s not very swanky. The word suggests an atmosphere of elegance and sophistication, but the Swanky Bingo website is black and very plain. You could say that Swanky Bingo fails to meet either of the promises it makes with its name – it isn’t swanky, and it isn’t a bingo site. There are better casino and bingo sites on the Jumpman Gaming network than this one.

Express Wins operator – Jumpman Gaming Limited

jumpman gaming casinos logo

Express Wins belongs to an elite group of white-label Jumpman Gaming Limited casinos. There are over two hundred such casinos among the Express Wins sister sites, but only a handful of them can boast of having official connections to household names. Express Wins obviously qualifies because of its connection to the Daily Express, so it joins Star Wins (the official casino of the Daily Star), Mirror Bingo (the Daily Mirror) and OK Bingo (OK Magazine) in this category – and there are others. The fact that so many big names would trust Jumpman Gaming with the job of building them an official casino site is a sign of how much respect there is within the industry for the Guernsey-based casino operator. Normally, a company has to be long-tenured to engender such respect. That isn’t the case with Jumpman Gaming.

Jumpman Gaming launched its first iGaming sites in 2010. They were all bingo sites, and they didn’t exactly set the world on fire. It had six of them on its platform when it moved into online slots in 2012. Moving into slots came at the same time as moving into making white-label casinos, and Jumpman has never really looked back since. Its workforce has barely grown in all the years since – there are still only somewhere between twenty and thirty people working for the company -but the total number of people who’ve registered an account at Jumpman Gaming casino stands in excess of one million. Through Jumpman Slots, which Jumpman Gaming owns in its entirety, the company also develops and releases casino games.

Express Wins Sister Sites Welcome Bonuses

The casinos on the Jumpman Gaming platform that have connections to real-world entertainment properties tend to offer bigger welcome promotions than those that don’t. As proof of that, the welcome offer at Express Wins is a potential one thousand per cent “match up” bonus. Players must first deposit £10 into their new Express Wins account and then spin a wheel of fortune to determine the size of the matched deposit bonus they receive. The maximum reward is £2000, but it’s also possible to get no boost at all. Whatever’s won must be wagered x65 before it can be withdrawn.

Other Promotions

As well as having a wheel of fortune, Express Wins also has a Mega Reel. It’s the same Mega Reel that exists at countless Express Wins sister sites, and it works the same way. The reel is unlocked each time a player at Express Wins collects five trophies by playing certain games or achieving certain challenges. The number of free spins available on the Mega Reel increases every time a further five trophies are unlocked until a whole two hundred trophies have been awarded. Then (and only then) will players be invited to join the Express Wins 200 Club, receiving a £50 Amazon voucher upon joining. The other promotions at Express Wins come and go frequently, so it’s always worth checking the promotions tab to see what’s new at the site.

Top Games at Express Wins

Given that Express Wins is a big-name Jumpman Gaming casino (it’s the official casino site of the British newspaper the Daily Express), it’s a little disappointing that it doesn’t have any exclusive games. It doesn’t even feature any slots on its homepage that you won’t also see at most of the Express Wins sister sites. The contents of the featured slots list are based on popularity, so we can tell that Express Wins players enjoy the Irish theme. It’s no surprise to see Rainbow Riches Megaways in the selection, and nor is Rainbow Riches: Pick n’ Mix a surprise inclusion, but there aren’t too many places outside the Jumpman Gaming network where you’ll find slots like Wild Wild Riches and Leprechaun’s Luck: Cash Collect given a share of the spotlight. If they’re not doing anything for you, perhaps something a little more classic like Reel King might be more to your tastes.

Licensing and Customer Support

Express Wins shares UK Gambling Commission licence 39175 with all of its sister sites under the Jumpman Gaming umbrella. The licence comes with a black mark in the shape of a £500,000 settlement that Jumpman reached with the UKGC in May 2022. It followed an investigation which revealed shortcomings in the operator’s handling of AML and customer identification requirements. The extensive Express Wins FAQ contains answers to the majority of common questions, but players who are stuck and need assistance have to email [email protected] and wait 48 hours for a reply.

Withdrawal Speed and Support

Express Wins supports withdrawals to PayPal e-wallets as well as lesser-known e-wallets like Skrill and Neteller. It also supports withdrawals to any major UK debit card. However, those withdrawals move at a snail’s pace. They first go into a 72-hour pending queue, and the release of funds could take another 72 hours beyond that. There’s no way of skipping or speeding up the process – not even for 200 Club members.

Final Thoughts on Express Wins

When a casino has connections to a publication as well-known as the Daily Express, you expect it to offer a little pizzazz. Express Wins scores a zero on the pizzazz scale. The design is dated and tired, and the washed-out colours make it look like a dull place to play casino games. That might be forgivable if the casino offered excellent customer support and speedy withdrawals, but it offers neither.

I’ve never known a casino make people jump through so many hoops to withdraw winnings. It doesn’t just ask for proof of identity or age – it wants the full story on every card attached to your PayPal account. The C Man, June 18th 2021. Source – WhichBingo.

I hate how hard they make it to withdraw anything. I’ve beaten the wagering requirements and sent them all my ID documents. They then ask me to make a deposit from the card I want to withdraw from, so I do, and then my account gets reviewed again. It says it’s to prevent fraud, but the only fraud here is Express Wins.Ben, March 7th 2021. Source – WhichBingo.

I asked to withdraw money from here ten days ago. I’ve sent my council tax bill, bank statements, photos of my bank card and everything else. Despite all that, my withdrawal went straight back into my playing account. They ignore my emails.Zivile, October 27th 2020. Source – WhichBingo.
