BetVictor

BetVictor

There can’t be many people out there who’ve never heard of BetVictor, which is one of the UK’s biggest and most successful betting brands. However, there might be quite a few people who are surprised to hear that BetVictor has any sister sites at all, let alone that it’s one of the Betano sister sites. However, BetVictor has switched gears in recent times. After many years of operating alone, BetVictor has thrown its arms open to other brands, and has now welcomed Betano onto the BV Gaming Limited platform after the brand proved its worth outside the UK. BetVictor will forever be the flagship site of the platform that bears its name, though, and offers more comprehensive coverage of sports than almost any other betting brand in its business. BetVictor Casino, which is a companion site to the main BetVictor brand, is also worth a look if you enjoy slots and traditional casino games.

Heart Bingo

Heart Bingo

Heart Bingo is the perfect example of what we were talking about above. Heart Bingo, the official bingo and iGaming site of the hugely popular Heart Radio station, began its life as a Gamesys Operations Limited brand. For whatever reason, Heart Bingo and Gamesys parted ways, with Heart Bingo officially becoming one of the Betano sister sites in 2023. Like a lot of modern iGaming sites that have “bingo” in their name, Heart Bingo is more than just a bingo site. It also has a full fleet of casino games, some of which are exclusive to the platform. Another noteworthy thing about Heart Bingo is that it’s the only site on the BV Gaming Limited platform not to use the operator’s standard design template, so it looks and feels different to the other sites on the network. However, there’s no sports betting, so it may not be the best of the Betano sister sites for that reason.

TalkSPORT Bet

TalkSPORT Bet

It’s not a surprise to see that talkSPORT is now involved in sports betting. However, we are a little surprised at how long it took the popular sports radio station to get involved with the iGaming world. For many years before launching talkSPORT Bet, the talkSPORT website published reviews of casinos, betting sites and slot games. In fact, it’s continued doing so despite now having a brand of its own to promote, and has done a good job of staying impartial when writing said reviews. In form and function, talkSPORT Bet is much like BetVictor. It uses the brand’s signature black and yellow colour scheme, but its layout is identical to that used by the BetVictor site. There are some touches of individuality here, though, including the fact that you can listen to talkSPORT radio while you’re on the site. That’s a good way to stay on top of how your bets are doing.

Parimatch

Parimatch

In a lot of ways, Parimatch walked so Betano could run. Several comparisons can be made between the brands, including the fact that Parimatch was enormously successful internationally before becoming one of the Betano sister sites by joining the BV Gaming Limited platform, thus gaining entry to the UK market for the first time. Everywhere else other than the UK, Parimatch is self-managed – the relationship with BetVictor is exclusive to these shores. Given the ever-rising profile of Parimatch in the UK, we’d have to say that the partnership has been a success. It could even have been the success of this relationship that persuaded Betano to reach out to BV Gaming and get the ball rolling on their new arrangement. In terms of substance, though, you’re not going to find anything at Parimatch that doesn’t also exist at the other betting sites on the network.

Betano Review 2026

Betano arrived in the UK amid much fanfare at the beginning of May 2024. it’s a brand that’s done well internationally for many years and has now decided to chance its arm in the lucrative but crowded UK market. In doing so, it partnered with BV Gaming Limited, the parent company of BetVictor. The brand arrived just in time for the Euro 2024 football tournament, which it was a primary sponsor of. You can’t secure sponsorships like that unless you have very deep pockets, but that was all quite a long time ago now. How has Betano settled into the UK market, and is it worth your money to find out? Let’s see.

Betano Welcome Offers

There are two welcome promotions available at Betano. The first is aimed at sports bettors – the demographic that makes up the majority of Betano’s audience. It’s very simple – deposit and bet £10 to receive a free £10 bet, with no wagering requirements attached but also no live cash-out available. At the time we wrote this review, anyone who accepted the promotion was also entered into a draw to win tickets for the next home game for the men’s England football team.

The other welcome promotion is for casino fans and is worth a little more. Deposit and wager £10 on one of the casino’s nominated slots to receive a £30 bonus, delivered as three separate £10 bonus credits. The wagering requirement is set at x40, which is a smidge high, and the maximum conversion limit is £750.

If you visit Betano while the football season is up and running, you might see a third (and arguably better) welcome promotion that’s aimed squarely at football bettors. It works the same way as the general sports betting bonus, but instead of getting £10 for your first £10 bet, you get £30 instead. Why football bettors should get better treatment than those who want to bet on other sports is anybody’s guess, but that’s the approach that Betano has gone with.

Ongoing Promotions

There are only two ongoing promotions available at Betano as of the time of writing, and we don’t think either of them are great. First, the Betano Sports Team promotion offers a free spin of the Betano Bonus Wheel to anyone who’s placed four £10 bets (or more) on any sports market between Monday and Friday each week. The top prize on the wheel is £50 in free bets. The other option is the Betano Casino Crew bonus, which offers a near-identical bonus for anyone who’s wagered £40 or more on slots during the previous week. When using the casino version of the wheel, the top prize is 140 free spins. That’s all you get – no loyalty scheme, no more deposit bonuses, and no other perks.

What are the Pros and Cons of Betano?

Pros: Betano is an internationally famous sports betting brand with a strong partner in BV Gaming Limited. You ought to be able to rely on the site to treat you fairly. If you have a Visa debit card that’s approved for fast funds, you should be able to get withdrawals within thirty minutes of asking for them.

Cons: The lack of worthwhile ongoing promotions and bonuses means that Betano simply can’t compete with the other big-name betting brands out there, including BetVictor, with which it shares a platform. There’s not enough choice when it comes to withdrawals, either – in this day and age, we’d expect a genuinely top betting site to deal with e-wallets and alternative payment methods like Trustly.

Top Games at Betano Casino

We’re not going to spend much time discussing the top casino games at Betano because casino games aren’t the point of the site. This is very much a sports betting brand, and it exists on a network almost exclusively made up of other sports betting brands. If you want to play casino games, you’d be better off going to an actual online casino. Nevertheless, the top slots at the site are Big Bass Splash, Fishin’ Frenzy and Legacy of Dead. If you’re more interested in live games, you can rest assured that all the top games from Evolution Gaming are available at Betano, including Crazy Time.

For most people, the draw of Betano will be its sportsbook, which is nominally the same sportsbook you’ll find at BetVictor. However, as a brand, Betano focuses on football. The latest Premier League or international fixtures will always be in the middle of the homepage when you land on it, with European and lower-league fixtures beneath them. It’s only after you’ve scrolled down past all the football action that you’ll find horse racing, followed by darts. The full A-Z list at Betano isn’t the longest, but it includes Gaelic football, futsal, beach volleyball and hurling, so plenty of minority-interest sports are covered, as well as the usual big hitters.

Withdrawal Processing and Support

As we alluded to in the pros and cons section of this review, the processing of withdrawals is something that Betano should be doing much better with. The lack of support for any e-wallets or instant banking services is truly baffling in this day and age, and means the site is somewhat stuck in the past. If you ask for a bank transfer, you can expect to wait between two and five days. The same turnaround time applies to debit card transactions except for those who have a Visa card approved for fast funds, in which case the wait should only be thirty minutes if no verification is required. While turnaround times for Google and Apple Pay aren’t specifically given, we assume them to be the same as standard debit card transactions.

Customer Support and Licensing

The live chat support team is available around the clock, but you could also email support@betano.co.uk or send the company a message on one of its social media channels if you’d prefer to get help that way. While you can’t pick up the phone and call Betano, you can send SMS messages to +44 7360 539790. The UK Gambling Commission licence that covers Betano is number 39576 and is held by BV Gaming Limited. While BV Gaming Limited has been fined by the Commission in the past, it’s kept its nose clean since February 2022, and its licence is now considered clean. The same licence also applies to the Betano sister sites we profiled at the top of this page.

Betano – The Verdict

Considering that this is a big brand entering the UK with dreams of making a big splash in the market, Betano feels like it’s missing something. The lack of compelling promotions makes the site feel a little stale, and the lack of modern payment processing methods means that it isn’t as efficient as some of its major rivals. BetVictor is the benchmark against which Betano will be measured, and it simply doesn’t stack up against that kind of competition. Betano has grown a little bit since the first time we reviewed it, which was the day the brand launched in the UK in 2024, but it’s still lagging behind the bigger names that it shares a network with.

What are players saying about Betano?

Here are our condensed / reader’s digest summaries of recent Betano reviews from real players.

One of the worst online experiences I’ve had. The whole platform feels like a scam from start to finish. Wouldn’t trust them with a penny. – source: Trustpilot
  • 25-Feb-2025 by Matt:
A dreadful site. I lost over £400 in 15 minutes on £2 spins and didn’t trigger a single bonus. This was the third time I’d played and not won anything at all. I’ve closed my account—lesson well and truly learnt. Avoid anything connected to this company. – source: Trustpilot
  • 21-Feb-2025 by Mike:
What a joke of a site. Lost £300, only ever saw one bonus worth £2.30. Shut my account straight away. Don’t waste your time here. – source: Trustpilot
  • 13-Feb-2025 by Jay:
Lots of games and a nice welcome offer, but the downsides are hard to ignore. Bonuses pay out very little, and support takes hours to reply. Navigation is clunky, and the wins just aren’t worth sticking around for. I managed to withdraw £75 but won’t be coming back. – source: Trustpilot
  • 11-Feb-2025 by Bradders:
Absolute scam. Signed up and was immediately told I wasn’t eligible for any offers. Then I was blocked from all their sister sites too. Customer service was unhelpful and rude. Reported them and closed everything down. – source: Trustpilot
  • 11-Feb-2025 by Mower:
Been waiting nearly two weeks for a withdrawal to the same card I deposited with. The delay is a joke, and I’ve got nothing to show for it. Total waste of time. – source: Trustpilot
  • 09-Feb-2025 by BP:
Easily the worst withdrawal experience I’ve had in 30 years of gambling. Even after verifying everything, they still haven’t paid out. Spent over eight hours dealing with this mess and still no money. You’d be mad to use Betano when there are better options out there. – source: Trustpilot
  • 07-Feb-2025 by Carol:
Shocking situation—someone opened an account using my bank card and ran up 34 transactions totalling £560. I’ve never even used this site! No help from customer support and emails go unanswered. Appalling security and service. – source: Trustpilot
  • 03-Feb-2025 by Tyler:
Spent ages waiting on live chat with no response. Completely useless support. Feels like no one is actually there to help. – source: Trustpilot
  • 02-Feb-2025 by Carl:
Surprisingly brilliant. Betano has great sports and casino options, daily promos, and a really smooth mobile app. Withdrawals were quick and the welcome offers were decent too. Easily one of the better betting platforms I’ve used lately. – source: Trustpilot
