It’s been one of the operator’s top brands almost since the moment it launched, and it’s easy to identify as such thanks to its bespoke design. While too many casinos on this network have generic, paint-by-numbers looks and styles, Spin Rio comes crashing in with a beautiful Brazilian theme that immediately catches the eye. Is it all flash and no filling, though? This review will tell you everything you need to know.

Spin Rio Welcome Bonus

The £200 matched deposit welcome promotion advertised on the homepage of Spin Rio is actually a welcome package, with bonuses available on the first three deposits a new player makes at the casino. First deposits get the best bonus, matched at 100% up to £50 with twenty free spins on Starburst thrown in. Second deposits get a 50% match up to £75, and come with forty spins on Book of Dead. Third deposits then attract another 50% bonus up to £75, and come with 40 spins on Legacy of Dead. All bonus funds come with an x35 wagering requirement. The requirement is also applied to any winnings that might result from free spins.

Confusingly, there’s contradictory information about the free spins right underneath the confirmation of the matched deposit bonuses. The additional text suggests that players receive twenty free spins per day for four days after making their first deposit, and that the spins are attached to a different set of slots than the ones outlined above. This strikes us as an error, and one that Spin Rio would do well to correct.

Ongoing Offers

For quite a long time, Spin Rio had no promotions other than its welcome bonus and the various tournaments that it provides access too. The FAQ section of the site is extensive, but there’s no substitute for being able to speak to somebody when you need to.

As an AG Communications Limited casino, Spin Rio holds the same UK Gambling Commission licence that covers all of the Spin Rio sister sites, but it’s not a clean one. In 2022, the company was fined £237,600 for breaking licence conditions that govern the prevention of money laundering. We suspect that most players would rather get their money a lot faster than that, and there are various ways to do so. If you use the Trustly banking intermediary service, maximum withdrawal waiting times drop to four days. If you have a PayPal account, you should be waiting no more than two business days at most. Only a fool would say that Spin Rio isn’t a great-looking casino site, and you won’t find any fools here. We have to take issue with it in several places, though, and none more important than the poor quality of customer support that it offers.
