32Red promises that its welcome promotion is “incREDible” (get it?), with 320 free spins available to new players who opt in, deposit at least £30 using a debit card or instant bank transfer, and then stake £30 on qualifying slots. The spins are worth 10p each and are played on Big Bass Splash. Anything you win from them is subject to an x10 wagering requirement. Deposits made using Apple Pay, PayPal, Paysafecard, Skrill or Neteller don’t qualify, so there are still a few hoops to jump through. The strangest part is that 32Red’s own promotions page gives conflicting expiry periods for the spins, referring in different places to 48 hours, seven days and thirty days. A brand of this size ought to be able to make something that important clear.

The biggest of the ongoing promotions at the casino is now the “Ruby Lounge,” which is a loyalty bonus system by any other name. It isn’t open to everybody, though. Membership is invitation-only; players have to opt in, and they must agree to receive sports and casino marketing. There are three monthly levels, with Bronze covering zero to 499 points, Silver running from 500 to 999, and Gold beginning at 1000. Points can be exchanged for free spins, bonus funds, free bets, Bet Builder free bets and cash rewards, and members also get access to a weekly free-to-play game.

At least 32Red now explains how those points are earned. Every £15 staked on slots earns one point, as does every £30 staked on live casino games or £20 staked on RNG table games. Debit card, PayPal and bank transfer are all available for withdrawals, although the methods offered for deposits and withdrawals aren’t identical. PayPal is listed with an average processing time of up to twelve hours rather than being instant, while debit-card withdrawals can take three to five working days and bank transfers are listed at one to three working days. The minimum is less clear. The dedicated banking page says £10 for cards and PayPal, while the general terms say the standard minimum withdrawal is £5 and invite players with smaller balances to contact support. That contradiction ought to be cleared up.

Customer Support and Licence

Customer support is provided through the Help Centre’s chat and contact system, but the website doesn’t offer a telephone number or confirm precise opening hours. That makes the service harder to assess than it ought to be. The casino’s current UK Gambling Commission licence is number 45322 and is held by Platinum Gaming Limited. 32Red doesn’t need a positive review from us to help it along – it’s already massive, and will continue to be massive. We think there’s quite a lot to like about the site, from its comprehensive collection of slots and games to the fact that it also covers sports betting and online poker. The Ruby Lounge earning rates are clear, but the scheme would be more appealing if it weren’t invitation-only and tied to marketing consent. The welcome offer’s x10 wagering requirement is reasonable by comparison with the old deal, although the contradictory expiry information needs sorting out. Sports bettors have several promotions available, but no poker offer was available when we checked, and customer support information could be much easier to find.
