You’re left in no doubt about what Winissimo does and doesn’t do from the moment you arrive on its homepage – it promotes itself as “Winissimo Casino and Sportsbook.” As such, it’s one of a considerable number of Bet Storm sister sites that offer both casino games and sports betting. This, however, is not the official website of the UK’s National Lottery. It’s a website that monitors lotteries all over the world and provides access to many of them through a single portal. Nothing lottery-related at the site is run by ProgressPlay Limited. Click the “lottery games” button on the site’s homepage, though, and you’ll be taken to a familiar-looking list of slots and casino games. All of these games, plus the promotions that go with them, are provided by ProgressPlay. It’s an unusual way to run an iGaming site, but it clearly works for ProgressPlay and Take That Limited, which is the true owner of the website. The two companies have also teamed up on the Euro Millions website, which works in exactly the same way.

Malta plays host to a great number of casino network companies, but very few like ProgressPlay. A lot of the casino operators who are active on the island don’t have UK Gambling Commission licences, choosing to settle with the native Malta Gaming Authority licence instead, but ProgressPlay Limited has always had loftier goals. It was founded on the island in 2012 but has expanded far beyond it, picking up additional licenses and reaching new territories as it expands.
