BlitzGem Welcome Bonuses

The welcome promotion at BlitzGem gets tripled up, with a 150% match to first deposits, the same again for second deposits, and 115% for third deposits. Oddly, wagering requirements vary between the deposits, with the first and third deposit offers attached to an x20 playthrough requirement, but an increased x25 for the second deposit offer. Even more oddly, the terms state that the maximum bonus value depends on your region, the currency you’re using, and your deposit history. How can you have a deposit history if you’re brand new to the casino? There might well be value here, but the way the bonus is presented is confusing and a little poor.

Other Promotions

The one thing we’re sure of about the bonuses at BlitzGem is that there are lots of them. In terms of content, though, many of them leave us as confused as the welcome promotion did. The “up to 200% cashback on every deposit” offer, for example, turns out to be a match of between 100% and 150% for two deposits only, and without any explanation of how to get the 150% rather than the lower amount. The daily rakeback offer of 3% turns out to be 1% when you open it up, and we can’t make head or tail of the “small investment, big return” promotion at all.

Some of the bonuses are a little easier to follow, like an offer of up to 25% weekly and monthly cashback, depending on your VIP Club standing with BlitzGem. There are also limited and short-term promotions to catch while they’re hot, and a wheel of fortune that can be spun once per day and might lead to additional rewards.

We turned up to review BlitzGem Casino not long after it opened, and we got the impression that the VIP Club was still being built. There’s a devoted page of the website for it containing headings like “VIP Bonus,” “Daily Rakeback,” and “VIP Benefits,” but all of the percentages are set to zero, and the withdrawal benefits are listed as “coming soon.” The only bit of solid information we were able to glean is that weekly bonuses unlock at the third VIP level, but we don’t know how many VIP levels there are, or how to move between them. It’s a bit like the BlitzGem website went live before it was really supposed to.

What are the Pros and Cons of BlitzGem Casino?

Pros: If you’re using cryptocurrency, you should get your withdrawals from BlitzGem immediately. There’s a good selection of high-quality slots and live casino games from the likes of Pragmatic Play and other top names. The casino holds a rudimentary iGaming licence.

Cons: The bonuses don’t always make sense. Many of the terms and conditions are confusing, contradictory, or simply not listed at all. Live chat is supposed to be 24/7, but there was nobody there to speak to at the time we wrote this review. Some of the pages of the BlitzGem Casino website feel unfinished.

As we mentioned in the Pros and Cons section of our BlitzGem review, we tried to use the live chat facility during the course of our review, but were greeted by a message telling us that the support team was “away at the moment,” which isn’t especially reassuring. We were directed to send an email to support@blitzgem.com instead. The casino is covered by the Internet Gaming Licence that its operator holds in the State of Anjouan, and the licence can automatically be extended to cover any future BlitzGem sister sites.

BlitzGem Casino – The Verdict

It’s entirely possible that BlitzGem is a pretty decent casino, but it hasn’t given us enough upfront information to be confident with that judgment. Where it falls the flattest is with its bonuses – so much of the information that the casino provides on that front is confusing, contradictory or completely missing that it’s impossible to be sure what you’re getting when you part with your money, and that isn’t anyone’s idea of fun. The game selection and standards of service are good, though, so if someone at the operator’s end was able to step in and sort out the bonus situation, this could be a promising little site.
