If we were to assess Ted Bingo as a bingo site, we’d have to say it’s not great. Pink Ribbon Bingo is an iGaming site that wouldn’t deserve to be criticised harshly even if there were anything wrong with it. Neon Bingo certainly lives up to its name. If your eyes are sensitive, you might want to pop some sunglasses on before you visit the Neon Bingo homepage – it’s very bright. Neon pink isn’t the easiest colour to look at for long periods of time, but it certainly grabs your attention. Having got your attention, though, it doesn’t do much with it. Once you’ve read the terms and conditions of the welcome promotion and realised that Neon Bingo imposes a brutal x85 wagering requirement on bonus funds if you want to play slots, your enthusiasm for playing at the casino is likely to have dissipated. Yes, we’re calling it a casino rather than a bingo site because Neon Bingo is yet another member of the City Bingo sister sites family that didn’t understand the assignment when it was given the word “bingo” in its name during the design stage.

Eyebrows were raised at the price tag, as many analysts believed the sites were collectively worth more. Even though Broadway Gaming was the victor, the company opted not to put its name (or its UK Gambling Commission licence) on the line for the sites. Instead, it created Grand Battery Holdings Limited to oversee its newly-acquired assets.

Grand Battery Holdings Limited is an unusual casino network company in several ways. It was established solely to acquire a UK Gambling Commission licence and become the new hosting company for all of Broadway’s former 888 Group sites. As such, it doesn’t have a distinguishable identity of its own – it operates merely as an extension of Broadway Gaming. The company officially took control of all the acquired sites in February 2022. You could say that Grand Battery Holdings doesn’t even have an independent existence. It doesn’t have an office of its own (its registered address belongs to Broadway Gaming), and there are no actual employees working for the company. It doesn’t even have a website or a business logo. The one you see above was designed by us purely so we had something to put there.

We suspect it’s been a while since City Bingo received any major updates in terms of its games catalogue, as the single, lonely thumbnail on the homepage promotes Safari King as the latest arrival at the site. That’s a Pragmatic Play slots game, and it’s been out since 2019 – hardly “new.” If you’re more interested in bingo than slots – which would be understandable, given the site’s name – the bingo rooms have imaginative titles like “90 Ball Bingo,” “52-5 Bingo” and so on. While the theme at City Bingo might be imaginative and original, its games portfolio is anything but.
