The only surprising thing about the fact that DAZN Bet exists is the fact that it wasn’t created sooner. Sky Bet proved years ago that successful sports broadcasters can go on to become very successful in the field of sports betting, but it’s taken years for other companies to follow suit. DAZN Bet is one of two that have finally clocked on in the past couple of years, the other being TalkSPORT Bet. If you’ve never heard of DAZN before, it’s one of the world’s biggest boxing broadcasters. Its interests aren’t limited to boxing, though – the company has also covered other combat sports, American football (NFL), Japanese football (soccer) and a variety of other sports. The DAZN Group network is available in almost every major territory in the world.

The fact that the broadcaster has enormous reach doesn’t guarantee that its official iGaming site is any good. To find out whether that’s the case, we’re going to have to review it. We’ll do that right now.

DAZN Bet Welcome Promotions

The official new customer offer at DAZN Bet is £20 in free bets when you sign up, deposit at least £10, and then wager £10 on any event with odds ox 2.00 or greater within seven days of registration. Boxing bets are disqualified from the promotions for some reason, but all other sports are fair game. The £20, once you’ve qualified for it, is delivered as a £5 accumulator bet, £5 bet builder, £5 horse racing bet, and £5 boxing bet. Why you can bet on boxing with the proceeds of the promotion but not the bet that qualifies you for it is beyond us, but the overall package is reasonable enough.

It’s hard to imagine why anyone would come to DAZN Bet and then choose to stick to the casino side of the site, but if you do, you can get a welcome offer of ten “Golden Chips” to use on Mega Fire Blaze Live Roulette followed by ten free spins on Big Bass Bonanza by depositing £10 and wagering it on Mega Roulette in the live suite. For some reason, the free spins come seven days after the golden chips. There are no wagering requirements tied to the casino bonus.

Other Promotions

To claim the best of the additional promotions at DAZN Bet, you’ll need to have a DAZN streaming or television account. Players can connect their DAZN Bet account with their regular DAZN account to receive exclusive, personalised rewards, including free bets, regular allocations of bonus spins, and money off their DAZN subscription. Not every user of DAZN Bet is a DAZN customer, though, and so there are further promotions available for those who don’t have any such accounts. However, they’re not very substantial.

When we checked DAZN Bet to write this review, we found that its additional promotions were of the “small but regular” variety. Players who spend £10 on casino games each week get ten free spins per week, for example. Similarly, players who stake five bets of £5 or more on sports each week get one free £5 bet in return. For horse racing enthusiasts, any win that comes in with odds of 5/1 or more automatically receives a five per cent winnings boost just to be nice. The impression we get is that promotions are changed, added and removed regularly, so you’d be better off checking the website directly rather than relying on this information being accurate – the whole picture might change by next week.

What are the Pros and Cons of DAZN Bet?

Pros: This is a good-looking, big-brand iGaming site with a fantastic sportsbook and a huge portfolio of casino games. The promotions won’t blow you away, but they’re well thought-out and offer genuine value. The overall quality of the site is very high.

Cons: While multiple payment and deposit methods are supported, instant withdrawals aren’t possible. There’s no telephone-based customer support, which is an annoyance. Of more concern to us, though, is that players who’ve taken the time to leave reviews on Trustpilot have such a consistently low opinion of DAZN Bet. All iGaming sites get bad reviews, but for the review to be so solidly negative suggests that something’s wrong.

The next biggest sport covered at DAZN Bet after football is horse racing. After that it’s (unsurprisingly, given the broadcaster’s roots) boxing, and then the list goes A-Z starting with American Football and ending with volleyball. It’s not quite as comprehensive a list as the likes of Ladbrokes might offer you, but it still contains plenty of options. Withdrawal Processing & Support

DAZN Bet can facilitate withdrawals to most modern payment methods. Your Visa, Mastercard, or Maestro debit card is welcome so long as you can verify it, and attracts a processing time of 1-5 business days on top of the 24 hours DAZN Bet required in order to manually assess each withdrawal request. You’ll get faster withdrawals using PayPal or Trustly, with a maximum turnaround of two business days following approval. Neteller and Skrill are a little slower, with a maximum turnaround time of three business days. With a processing period of up to five working days, bank transfers are no faster or slower than debit card withdrawals. Players can also withdraw back to a Paysafe card if they so desire. The lack of an instant withdrawal option is a drawback, but the overall speed isn’t too bad.

DAZN Bet is listed on UK Gambling Commission licence 48756, which is held by DZBT Limited. Should any DAZN Bet sister sites appear in the future, they’ll be covered by the same licence. In June 2023, DZBT Limited was fined by the UK Gambling Commission for accepting bets from a self-excluded individual. However, the sum of the fine was nominal at £700.

If it weren’t for the overwhelmingly negative customer reviews, we’d happily recommend DAZN Bet as a solid pick for a betting site. It’s only those reviews that are giving us pause for thought. The site looks great and has all the options and features that we’d want a good betting site to have, save for instant withdrawals, and though we’d appreciate telephone-based customer support, live chat is fine. The terms and conditions of both the website and the promotions offered upon it sound fair. Customer feedback indicates that DAZN Bet doesn’t always uphold those terms and conditions, though – so we’ll look at some of it below.
