LV Bet operator – Fairload Limited

Information about Fairload Limited was difficult to come by even before the company decided it didn’t want to trade in the UK anymore at the beginning of 2015. Since it withdrew from the domestic market, finding information about the firm has become almost impossible. However, we’re under the impression that it isn’t an especially large organisation. Fairload Limited was formed in 2015 in Malta, where it still has its head office in the busy casino city of Valletta, which is also home to at least a dozen more casino network companies. As a Malta-based company, Fairload Limited holds a Malta Gaming Authority licence. That’s a respected licence, but it’s not enough to get the company into the UK market. The loss of the UKGC licence means the company is permanently gone unless it ever sees fit to apply for a new one.

LV Bet is the only iGaming site that Fairload Limited operates or has ever operated – it’s never opened or closed any other sites and has never shown any particular interest in expanding. The operator doesn’t have an official website or any other kind of digital presence, so the only other information we think we know about it comes from other sources, the accuracy of which can’t be verified. We think, for example, that Fairload Limited has fewer than one hundred employees in total, but we have no way of knowing whether that’s accurate. We’ve also read that there might be a connection between Fairload Limited and Forwell Investment BV, which is another casino network company registered in Curacao, which tends to be a red flag in the casino business. Again, though, we can’t say how true that is.

You can’t beat a warm welcome when you sign up with a new casino, which is why it’s such a shame that LV Bet can’t offer us one. It doesn’t matter whether you’re joining LV Bet because you want to use it as a casino or because you want to use it to bet on sports, which is what it’s more famous for – there’s no welcome promotion available either way. Most players will likely see that as a bad thing, but there’s a positive there for players who hate getting stuck with a sticky welcome bonus they never asked for as soon as they make their first bet.

If you click on the “promotions” page, the casino will tell you that there aren’t any promotions currently available (or, at least, that’s what we were told at the time of our visit to the casino). Click on the “tournaments” page, and you’ll find that there aren’t any tournaments scheduled at the moment, either. The fact that there are pages specifically designed for these features but no content on them gives the impression that LV Bet is an iGaming site in decline, whether that’s a fair reflection of the truth or not. Open the side menu, though, and you’ll find a link labelled “LV Points.”

Every time a player spends money playing slots at LV Bet, they earn a free spin of the LV Wheel, which is similar to the bonus wheels you might find at plenty of other online casinos. One of the prizes the wheel might dispense, among other perks, is LV Points. These points can be converted into real cash at a rate of £1 per 200 points. Cash generated this way is awarded without any associated wagering requirement, and points never expire once they’ve started accumulating. It’s not a bad welcome promotion – it’s just strange that LV Bet doesn’t actually promote it.

LV Bet is known as a sports betting site better than it’s known as a casino, but like a lot of sports betting sites in the modern age of iGaming, it’s expanded beyond its original template to incorporate both slots and live casino games. The casino doesn’t work with a huge number of providers and seems to favour slots by BF Games more than games made by anybody else. There are still plenty to choose from, though, and these were the top three when we visited LV Bet to write this review.

Stunning Cash: When you first open Stunning Cash, which was developed and released by BF Games in 2022, you’ll assume that it’s the most basic and traditional slots game you’ve ever come across. It’s a very wrong assumption. Everything in Stunning Cash can change, from the fruit symbols on the reels to the colour of the background and the entire grid. It’s a super-modern, very good-looking slots game with progressive jackpots and a ton of bonus features, including hold and spin. The RTP of Stunning Cash is low at 94.05%, but volatility is very high.

Cave of Fortune: This is another BF Games slot, but it’s a little older, having been released in April 2021. Cave of Fortune takes place in a literal cave populated by goblin miners and has the high-quality graphics and production values that this provider is known for. Nitroglycerin symbols on the reels explode after every three spins, meaning there’s a lot of variance on the grid (and high volatility overall). The slot starts with a 5*3 layout but can be expanded to 5*4 through bonus features and locks at that size during free spins. There[‘s a downside to Cave of Fortune, though, and it’s the fact that its RTP is once again low at 94.15%.

Misery Mining: Whoever put the selection of top slots together at LV Bet clearly loves the mining theme because there are two mining-themed slots in the top three games here. Misery Mining comes from Nolimit City rather than BF Games and is a whole lot meaner and moodier than the other slots we’ve looked at here. This is an incredibly complex creation and won’t be to everyone’s tastes. The grid can move between 3*3 and 7*7 or anywhere in between on any given spin, and every explosion that happens on it increases the value of the multiplier in play. Misery Mining is a 2022 release and offers high volatility and 94.05% RTP.

While LV Bet doesn’t have any exclusive slots to offer, it has plenty of categories and manages to provide some exclusivity with its live casino offerings, which include a branded LV Bet roulette game. There are also plenty of jackpot slots at the casino, complete with “must drop” timers on the homepage to clue you in on what has to be paid out by when. To reiterate our original point, though, the main draw of LV Bet is its sportsbook. Players tend to see LV Bet as an esports betting specialist, but it also goes deep with its football betting options. All major sports are covered, and there’s a bet builder feature for those who don’t fancy any of the basic betting opportunities on offer.

LV Bet operates according to the terms and conditions of a Malta Gaming Authority licence. It used to be covered by a UK Gambling Commission licence, but the operator surrendered the licence in January 2023.

Withdrawal Speed and Support

LV Bet accepts deposits and can provide withdrawals to any major debit card, a variety of e-wallets (including all the major ones you might be able to name) and payment intermediary services like Trustly and Rapid Transfer. In short, you have plenty of options. Unfortunately, you might be waiting a long time for your money, even if you’ve requested it to an e-wallet or another method that should result in fast payments. LV Bet might take up to three working days to consider your withdrawal request, after which there’s a further wait of 1-3 working days for transfers to debit cards. E-wallets ought to be funded within a single day once the withdrawal request has been processed.

What we think of LV Bet is almost inconsequential, as the site is now off-limits to players in the UK. If you visit LV Bet from a UK-based IP address, you won’t even see an option to register; the whole country is geo-blocked. For what it’s worth, we think we lost a good one when Fairload Limited decided to give up its UK Gambling Commission licence.
