Mega Riches caught us by surprise when it launched in June 2024. It had been so long since Videoslots Limited added a new casino to its roster that we assumed that it was happy with the sites it already had. Given the success that the operator has experienced with Video Slots and Mr Vegas, we wouldn’t blame them if they were content to sit back, but Mega Riches might signal the beginning of a new phase of expansion. Instead of offering free spins, the welcome bonus offers, and we quote, “fifty chances to become a millionaire.” All is not what it seems, though, as these fifty chances are still bonus spins – it’s just that they’re attached to the Ancient Fortunes: Poseidon Megaways slot, which is attached to a seven-figure Wowpots jackpot.

The terms are a lot friendlier than that headline suggests. The matched bonus carries an x10 playthrough requirement, which you have 60 days to complete, and it’s released in 10% chunks as you go, so you don’t have to finish the whole thing to see some of the money. The site says that the sum depends on how much you’ve bet and the RTPs of the games you’ve played, although it doesn’t publish the exact formula, but the good news is that whatever you’re paid comes free of wagering requirements.

The other ongoing promotion at Mega Riches is the “Wheel of Riches,” which is attached to a Mega, Major and Mini jackpot. Players earn spins of the wheel through the “XP” they’re awarded while playing at the casino, with a spin awarded for each five XP levels they pass through. The higher the XP level, the greater the value of available rewards. The Mega Jackpot is usually worth more than £10,000, so it’s a very lucky day for somebody whenever it pays out.

As we mentioned while covering the pros and cons of Mega Riches, the casino seems to have forgotten to include general banking information on its website. It’s a really strange omission because the casino was made using the same template as Video Slots and Mr Vegas, and the information is easy to find on the websites of both of those casinos. The full terms and conditions of Mega Riches state that the casino tries to ensure withdrawals are processed within 48 hours, which is fine, but nowhere does it declare which methods it supports. The terms do tell you a couple of other things worth knowing, although they’re written in euros rather than pounds. The minimum withdrawal is €20 for every method except bank transfers, and if you deposit money and then withdraw it without playing with it first, the casino can charge a fee of up to 3.95%.

The UK Gambling Commission licence that covers Mega Riches is #39380 and is held by Videoslots Limited. In June 2023, the UKGC charged Videoslots Limited with breaches of the terms of its licence, including failing to identify and interact with customers in a way that minimises the risk of them coming to gambling-related harm, and failing to follow anti-money laundering requirements. Mega Riches has fewer games than either of its sister sites, and the terms and conditions of its withdrawal policy aren’t as clear. That means it’s the weakest of the three casinos on the Videoslots Limited platform. However, it’s still a lot better than your average UK-facing online casino.
