When Net88 entered the UK marketplace in 2024, it did so as the new front-of-shirt sponsor of English Premier League football club Crystal Palace, signing the biggest sponsorship deal in the history of The Eagles. However, it came into the market alone. Net88 is the first and only betting brand on the Risq Capital Limited platform. That means there aren’t any Net88 sister sites for us to tell you about here, and we expect things to stay that way. The marriage between Net88 and Risq Capital is one of convenience. The brand doesn’t have any real ambitions to grow or maintain a presence in the UK marketplace.

That last sentence probably sounded strange, so allow us to explain further. English Premier League football is broadcast all over the world, and is especially popular in the Far East. That’s where Net88 does most of its business. Sponsoring an English Premier League team makes perfect marketing sense for a gambling company based in the Far East because of the enormous visibility that comes with the deal, but when making such a deal, brands have to establish a UK presence to remain in the right side of the law. That, in our opinion, is the only reason why this UK version of Net88 exists, and we suspect that the brand will disappear from the UK as soon as its deal with Crystal Palace is up. We could be wrong and we’ll be happy to correct the record if so, but until then, we won’t get our hopes up about seeing any Net88 sister sites.

We’ve already said at the top of this page that Net88 is only in the UK marketplace because of its sponsorship deal with Crystal Palace. It’s a much more familiar name in the Far East, where bettors have access to a larger and far more expansive version of the Net88 website. The one that exists in the UK is relatively small, focusing only on sports betting and offering very few promotions. There’s no harm in that if you’re just looking for somewhere new to place your sporting bets, though, so let’s review the site and see how it performs.

Net88 Welcome Offers

When you sign up with Net88 and place your first bet of £10, you’ll get £10 back as a free accumulator bet. It’s a very simple promotion, so there isn’t much more to be said about it. You’ll need to ensure that your qualifying bet meets the criteria specified by the site (check the Net88 Promotions page for full details), and you won’t be subject to any wagering requirements if you win anything from your free bets. You don’t get your stake back, but that’s to be expected with promotions like this one. This is a downgrade from the “Bet £10 get £30” promotion that Net88 had when it first launched, so we don’t know what prompted the site to become more miserly.

Ongoing Promotions

Don’t expect too much more in terms of promotions and perks from Net88 – it simply isn’t that kind of site. Players are offered a best-odds guarantee on UK and Irish horse racing, but the majority of bookies offer something along the same lines these days. Net88 was still new to the UK at the time this review was written, so it’s not impossible that the brand will add more bonuses as time passes. What are the Pros and Cons of Net88?

Pros: This is a nice, simple, to-the-point betting site. It doesn’t make anything overly complicated, its user interface is clean, and it gives away a reasonable free bet offer when you sign up. Customer service is accessible around the clock thanks to the live chat service, and the odds that it offers appear to be competitive.

Cons: Adding more payment and withdrawal options would definitely help the site. When this review was written, the only options were Visa and Mastercard debit. The lack of promotions might be off-putting to some, and the lack of any slots or casino games at the site will be even more off-putting to others. Net88 will only appeal to those who are looking for a back-to-basics bookie with no added frills.

Top Games at Net88

There are no top games at Net88. Some consider it commercial suicide to launch a betting site with no casino games attached in the modern era, but that’s the route that Net88 has gone down. Again, it’s not outside the realms of possibility that casino games will be added in the future, and there’s a “casino coming soon” banner on the homepage that seems to confirm this, but we have nothing to tell you about on that front until it happens.

In the absence of any casino games, sports take centre stage at Net88. Given the brand’s partnership with Crystal Palace it was always inevitable that football would take priority. When we checked out Net88 to write this review, we were offered in-play odds on fixtures happening in China. The order of priority from there is tennis, then cricket, then American football, then darts. Futsal, table tennis, handball, Aussie Rules and other minority-interest sports are also covered – players can even bet on Kabaddi if they want to. High-profile e-sports are on the long list of options, too, and there are special odds available on politics, TV shows and movies. It’s a pretty comprehensive betting site.

Withdrawal Processing and Support

At the moment, the only withdrawal methods supported by the Net88 website are debit cards, specifically Mastercard and Visa. We say “at the moment” because we’re still hopeful that more will be added in the future. The FAQ has been beefed up since the site went live, so we now know that withdrawals take between one and three business days. We’d hope for it to be closer to one than three more often than not, but it’s an acceptable turnaround time regardless.

In the UK, Net88 is covered by the UK Gambling Commission licence that Risq Capital Limited holds under account number 35527. The licence has been in force since 2016, and the company is also known by three other names – Sportsrisq, ISQ Sports and ISQBet. We don’t know if these are the intended names of future Net88 sister sites or just names that the operator has gone by in the past. We’re also not sure why the licence has been in place for so long when no sites were attached to it until 2024. In any event, the licence is clean, with no history of regulatory action taken against the operator.

Net88 – The Verdict

The first time we reviewed Net88, we noted that it was a very basic, minimalist betting site with no real features beyond the obvious, and speculated that it might grow over time. This was the brand’s second review, and it’s clear that our speculation was wide of the mark – Net88 is minimalist by design, and intends to stay that way. It’s also shrunk the value of its welcome promotion since that first review, although we appreciate that it’s also added more clarity about withdrawals. All of this being said, we still can’t see a compelling reason why people would want to place their bets here rather than with one of the many bigger, more generous betting brands out there.
