Sin Spins Sister Sites

Vegas Mobile Casino logo

It’s been a while since we’ve technically needed iGaming sites like Vegas Mobile Casino, but we once needed them very badly. Ten years ago, your average mobile phone handset couldn’t handle the demands of loading and playing casino games like the average laptop computer could. Players wanted to play casino games on their phones, though, so sites like Vegas Mobile Casino were created specifically for them. They look plain by modern standards, but they were designed with fewer graphics and less complex layouts to make them less taxing for mobile devices to load. These days there’s no need to go to such lengths, but there are a couple of the old-style mobile casinos still knocking around among the Sin Spins sister sites. Mr Mobi is probably the best of them, but there’s nothing wrong with Vegas Mobile Casino if you want to watch how much bandwidth you’re using when you’re using casino sites on the move.

KB88 logo

A good casino name is one that explains everything you’re likely to find at a casino or iGaming site before the homepage even loads. A bad casino name is one that fails to even make it clear that it’s even an online casino. You can see for yourself which camp KB88 falls into. We don’t know what “KB” stands for, but based on the Chinese lettering that’s used in its logo, we think the 88 might be there because the number eight is considered lucky in Chinese tradition. KB88 isn’t available in China, but it is available in Japan, so perhaps that’s the point. In any event, KB88 is one of a bunch of template-based Sin Spins sister sites that offer players sports betting to go with the usual complement of casino games and slots. In both appearance and execution, it’s Sin Spins with a sports betting aspect attached to it.

Watch My Spin logo

We don’t know how much longer we’ll be able to say that Watch My Spin is one of the Sin Spins sister sites. It’s still listed on the ProgressPlay Limited UK Gambling Commission licence, and the site still loads, but it’s clear from looking at it that it isn’t in a good way. The landing page, which should be doing its best to persuade people to play at Watch My Spin, spends most of its time explaining what online casinos are, how to play at them, and what bonuses do. Even if you can navigate your way past that to arrive at the “proper” Watch My Spin homepage, you’ll find that the page doesn’t quite load properly. The graphics don’t appear, so the page looks askew. None of this is promising for an iGaming site which has only been online since 2021. Launching an online casino can be a sink or swim process, and based on the evidence, it looks like Watch My Spin sunk fast.

Pots of Gold logo

The Sin Spins sister sites aren’t a great place to come looking for online casinos that use the Irish theme. You’ll find three or four of them, but none of them looks or feel especially Irish. This is one of many consequences of the template that ProgressPlay so often uses when it’s making its casinos and betting sites – there’s very little room for customisation, so themes often fall flat. That’s probably why so many of them don’t have any theme at all. Pots of Gold tries harder than the other Irish-themed sites, though, finding space to insert a large Irish-themed splash graphic on the homepage and a selection of Irish-themed slots positioned in its “featured games” section. The theme is only paper thin, but it’s still there, so it still counts. Other than that, Pots of Gold is yet another ProgressPlay casino that offers the same entertainment package as Sin Spins.

Dream Palace Casino logo

You must forgive Dream Palace Casino for looking a little “behind the times” when it comes to presentation – it’s been online and welcoming customers for more than a decade. In fact, this is one of the first Sin Spins sister sites to make it to the marketplace. It came online in 2012, which is the same year that ProgressPlay Limited opened its doors on the island of Malta. While the style of Dream Palace Casino’s homepage may look like something from the last decade, there’s nothing old-school about its promotions. With a “welcome pack” that could be worth up to one thousand pounds in matched deposit funds, there’s more promotional punch at Dream Palace Casino than you’ll find at almost any other casino site on the platform. Make sure you read the full terms and conditions before you accept any of the bonuses, though – the wagering requirements make them stickier than you’d like them to be.

Britain Bet logo

All of the Sin Spins sister sites we’ve looked at so far are either casinos or casinos with sportsbooks attached to them. Even KB88, which places sports betting on its homepage, can be classed as a casino because it shares the same basic design as Sin Spins. We can’t say the same of Britain Bet. This site is deadly serious about sports betting and doesn’t follow many of the basic guidelines that are established by the other sports-focused ProgressPlay betting sites. For a start, the graphics advertising promotions on its homepage are tiny rather than the full-page banners you’ll see elsewhere. Secondly, the list of odds and betting opportunities that scrolls vertically down the homepage is enormous. The feeling of Britishness is enhanced by the fact that odds for rugby and cricket games are prominently positioned, whereas a lot of the sports betting sites on the network give greater priority to basketball and ice hockey.

Hippozino logo

Not only do the ProgressPlay Limited casinos often lack themes, but they appear to deliberately refuse to use themes when it’s so obvious that one is called for. This is true not only of Hippozino but also of other Sin Spins sister sites. Take Ted Casino, for example, where you won’t find a teddy bear in sight. Then look at Monkey Casino, which is notable for its distinct lack of monkeys. Hippozino, as you’ll no doubt have worked out already, doesn’t have any hippos on it. We have to question the choice of name if the designers never intended to use a hippo mascot to liven up the casino’s otherwise dull-looking homepage. We’ll give Hippozino a modicum of credit for giving us a few animal-themed slots and games on its homepage, but it still feels like the casino doesn’t do the name justice.

Sin Spins operator – ProgressPlay Limited

progressplay casinos logo

Sin Spins has been online since 2016. By that time, ProgressPlay Limited was already well on the way to establishing its global empire. Four years earlier, the company was incorporated in Malta, becoming a new neighbour of the dozens of casino operators that already existed there. It’s no coincidence that there are so many casino network companies on the island; its tax laws are ideal for companies that work in the iGaming sector, and it’s also the home of the Malta Gaming Authority. That licence was the first that ProgressPlay acquired, but it didn’t wait long before applying for – and receiving – a UK Gambling Commission licence. The acquisition of the UKGC licence prompted ProgressPlay to open another office in London, after which a third office opened in Cyprus. Thanks to the operator’s multitude of operating licences, it’s able to offer its casinos and betting sites in virtually every regulated iGaming territory in the world.

The total number of casinos currently listed on ProgressPlay Limited’s UK Gambling Commission licence is in excess of one hundred and thirty. Only a couple of those casinos are ProgressPlay’s sole responsibility. Most of them are white-label casinos, part-owned and part-maintained by the various businesses and individuals that have paid ProgressPlay for its highly sought-after turnkey casino services. ProgressPlay is happy to build a casino for anyone who has the cash to pay for one (within reason) and has done so many times. There are actually fewer ProgressPlay Limited casinos in the UK now than there were during the operator’s peak years when it was involved in the running of more than two hundred.

Sin Spins Welcome Bonuses

If it’s a sin to copy your welcome promotion from the Sin Spins sister sites, Sin Spins is guilty of it. The welcome promotion of a (maximum) £200 matched deposit bonus will be familiar to you if you’ve played at other ProgressPlay Limited casinos in the past. Those of you who have will likely know the terms and conditions already; a nasty x50 wagering requirement with a stingy x3 maximum conversion clause. It’s not as big (or welcoming) a bonus as it may seem at first glance.

Other Promotions

Sin Spins provides its players with a “rewards store” – a digital shopping space where they can spend the “reward points” they receive while playing at the site. Normal gameplay is rewarded with points, but it may be possible to gather them faster by participating in the Sin Spins “missions.” When enough points have been scored, they can be exchanged for fairly standard casino perks, including matched deposit bonuses, free spins, pots of bonus cash and a few more, less-conventional perks.

Top Games at Sin Spins

In its “featured games” section, Sin Spins commits another sin – it’s copied its selection of games from at least a dozen Sin Spins sister sites and listed them in the same order. The order of priority at sites like Sin Spin is determined by the fact that the main provider of slots to the casinos is Games Global, formerly known as Microgaming. Thunderstruck II probably wouldn’t be listed prominently anywhere else on account of the fact that the game is well over a decade old, but it’s listed first at Sin Spins because of the Microgaming connection. 9 Pots of Gold is far newer, though, and is listed in second place. This scatter-driven, Irish-themed slots game is the work of Gameburger Studios, but Gameburger Studios is a partner developer of Microgaming. Evolution Gaming’s Dream Catcher is in third place and reminds players that when they join Sin Spins, they also have access to a collection of live dealer games.

Customer Support and Licensing

There’s a “support” tab at the top of the Sin Spins homepage, and the tab takes players to a portal full of frequently asked questions. In the event that the information you require isn’t a frequently-asked question, you can email or send a chat request to the customer support team. The mailbox is shared by all the Sin Spins sister sites, and the chat service isn’t live, so there’s no way of knowing how long you might be left waiting. Sin Spins holds a UK Gambling Commission licence (no. 39335) through ProgressPlay Limited, which had to pay a settlement of £175K to the UKGC in May 2022. The sum was decided upon after the UKGC deemed ProgressPlay Limited guilty of failing to observe AML and customer interaction guidelines.

Withdrawal Speed and Support

Sin Spins charges one per cent of all transaction amounts as a withdrawal fee, albeit with a £3 cap. You can’t get an instant withdrawal because of the 24-hour pending period for all requests, but you can get your cash one business day beyond that if you withdraw to a Skrill or Neteller e-wallet. E-wallets with ecoPayz and PayPal are also supported, but there’s a three-day wait for ecoPayz and a possible seven (business) day wait for PayPal. That’s the same as the projected turnaround time for debit card withdrawals.

Final Thoughts on Sin Spins

Sin Spins looks spicy thanks to the suggestive graphic on its homepage, but it’s only as spicy as your average ProgressPlay Limited casino site. The name and the graphics are the only things that separate the casino from around a dozen Sin Spins sister sites. Still, though, if you’ve never played at any of those casinos before, Sin Spins might hold some appeal for you. Just beware of the Hellish wagering requirements on bonuses and the withdrawal charges.

Sin Spins Player Reviews

Here are the thoughts of your fellow players about Sin Spins. The reviews are all real, but we’ve paraphrased them to keep them brief.

There have only been a couple of reviews of Sin Spins left on major review websites by players in the past twelve months. That isn’t enough for us to be able to bring you a well-rounded picture of player feedback, which is what we like to do. The lack of reviews might reflect a decline in the popularity of Sin Spins, which used to attract player feedback a lot more often. If more reviews appear in the future, you’ll see them here.
