Spin Genie

Spin Genie (you’ll sometimes see it written as SpinGenie, thanks to the logo, but the casino itself sticks with two words) is in the process of becoming a veteran of the online casino industry. It’s been online since 2014 and is one of Skill On Net’s most played and most trusted brands. The world of online casinos has changed a lot since 2014, though. Has Spin Genie fallen behind the times, or is it still on top of its game? Read on, and we’ll tell you.

Spin Genie Welcome Offer

The welcome offer at Spin Genie falls under the heading of “solid, not spectacular.” The default offer doesn’t give you any matched funds or cash rewards, but you will get 120 free spins on Book of Dead so long as you deposit at least £10. Anything you win with them is subject to an x10 wagering requirement, which is a big improvement on the x60 the casino used to ask for. Wagering at that old level has been illegal in the UK since January 2026, so Spin Genie didn’t have much choice in the matter. We’ve certainly had warmer welcomes elsewhere, but it’s not a terrible offer.

You don’t have to take the free spins, though. Enter the code SNG50 with your first deposit instead, and you’ll get 50 free spins on Sahara Riches Cash Collect plus a 100% match worth up to £25. There’s also a code called spin1year, which adds a 50% bonus to a £25 first deposit and then hands you 10 free spins on Thor every week for a whole year. That’s 520 spins in total, although you’ll have to be patient, as they only come ten at a time. Both codes carry the same x10 wagering as the default offer.

Ongoing Promotions

The rest of the promotions at Spin Genie are made up of daily offers, including a Prize Twister machine that gives you a guaranteed prize of free spins, bonus funds or cash (with a top prize of £25,000) every day that you make a deposit. There are also slots tournaments and occasional reload bonuses. The one thing the casino used to lack more than anything else in terms of its promotions was a VIP or loyalty reward system. The breadth and depth of promotions elsewhere have led players to want more in terms of incentives and rewards for their loyalty, and a VIP scheme is increasingly becoming a necessity to satisfy that expectation. Spin Genie has finally answered that with My Levels, which awards you points as you play and hands out bonuses and prizes as you climb through the levels. Best of all, you can’t drop back down once you’ve reached a level.

We’d love to be more specific about the reload bonuses, but the Spin Genie website doesn’t allow us to be. We’re told they can be made up of free spins, matched deposits or a combination of both, but we’re told nothing about when they’ll turn up or what they’ll be worth. It’s a good idea to keep an eye on your account centre and your email inbox to find out more.

What are the Pros and Cons of Spin Genie Casino?

Featured Slots and Casino Games

Spin Genie does a good job of swapping out its featured games section regularly so the site never looks stale. Even when doing that, though, it finds a place for the classics. Scroll far enough down the Spin Genie homepage, and you’ll find the likes of Rainbow Riches, Starburst and Fishin’ Frenzy waiting for you. You should know and love these slots already by now, but on the off chance you’d never played Starburst before, that’s our suggestion for where to start. Exclusive games also get prominent positioning on the Spin Genie homepage, although these days they’re mostly live dealer tables, including roulette streamed from Manchester and a VIP American Roulette table from The Palm Beach in London.

Away from the slots, Spin Genie also has an extensive selection of games with live dealers, virtual table games, and instant win scratch games. Some of the scratch games are based on successful television properties like Deal or No Deal and Monopoly. There’s now a bingo section, too, along with close to a hundred Slingo games. It’s a diverse and varied portfolio of slots and games, which is what most players want from their online casino of choice.

Deposit and Withdrawal Methods

Visa and Mastercard debit cards are both accepted at Spin Genie. So is PayPal, which is a big plus in terms of convenience. If you’d rather pay straight from your bank or your phone, you’ve got a choice of Trustly, Apple Pay and Google Pay, although Google Pay can only be used for deposits. No matter which method you choose, Spin Genie undertakes to get withdrawals to you within 24 hours of request so long as they have all the documentation they need and you’re in compliance with their terms and conditions.

Customer Support and Licence

The casino is fully licensed by the UK Gambling Commission through its parent company Skill On Net Ltd. There was a regulatory issue that was accepted and addressed by the operator in 2023 when the UK Gambling Commission charged Skill On Net with failing to adhere to AML guidelines and failing to interact with customers in a way that minimises the risk of gambling-related harm. For this, Skill On Net paid a settlement of £305,150 and divested itself of a further £105,650. Nevertheless, the licence is still in force and also covers the Spin Genie sister sites. Customer support options are email or live chat, although live chat isn’t available between midnight and 6am. That’s bad news for the night owls.

Spin Genie – The Verdict

Spin Genie has kept up with the times in terms of its aesthetics, and it’s finally caught up in terms of promotions and perks, but it’s still behind in terms of customer service. The addition of a loyalty scheme and the introduction of more customer-friendly wagering terms were overdue improvements, and we’re glad they’ve finally happened. Round-the-clock customer support is still missing, though, and that should have happened by now. We’re not sure why Skill on Net Limited is dragging its heels on that one, as it’s the last big gap in an otherwise solid offering. Until it’s fixed, there are better options out there – although not quite as many as there used to be.
