Betfred Sister Sites 2026
Betfred Bingo
Betfred Bingo is the part of the Betfred site that’s given over to bingo. There’s such a specific focus on bingo at this minisite that it deserves to be treated as a Betfred sister site in its own right. Bingo is still very much the main event here, with fifteen rooms covering 75-ball, 90-ball and themed games, but there’s now a sizeable collection of slots and side games sitting alongside them too. Betfred advertises more than 180 of those games, so this isn’t quite the bingo-only corner that the name might suggest.
The feeling of playing bingo can be a difficult one for online casinos to replicate because of the social aspect of the game. Betfred Bingo deals with that by having special chat-focused rooms that are more about socialising than they are playing. Don’t mistake that for weakness, though – if you’d rather get your head down and focus on the numbers there are plenty of rooms where you can do that instead. Four-figure jackpots are a common event at Betfred Bingo, and the minisite tends to be busy. Betfred Bingo and Betfred are comparable in name only – these two Betfred products have almost nothing in common.

Betfred Casino
Betfred Casino is a second Betfred sister site spun from the same cloth as Betfred. It’s contained within the site, and it suffers a little because of that. There’s enough content at Betfred Casino to justify giving it a space of its own, and the success of the casino aspect of the brand is probably at least partially responsible for the closure of OddsKing, which used to be another of the Betfred sister sites. Nevertheless, Betfred Casino is worth a visit if you’re a fan of both slots and sports even if it isn’t a triumph of web design or engineering.
Betfred Casino makes clever use of its parent company’s sporting connections to bring you slots with a sporting flavour. Sporting Legends titles connected to Ronnie O’Sullivan, Brian Lara, Frankie Dettori and Roberto Carlos all fit neatly with that approach. There’s plenty of depth beyond the celebrity games, too. Betfred now advertises more than two thousand games from over thirty suppliers across its wider games operation, so this is a far bigger casino collection than the brand’s sportsbook-first image might lead you to expect. It can be especially entertaining if you’re a sports fan, and it’s a logical extension of the Betfred brand. There’s little point in dwelling on the differences between Betfred Casino and Betfred because they were designed to be different. As with the other Betfred-branded minisites, the comparison is there in name only.

Betfred Review 2026
Fred Done opened his first “Bet Fred” store in Salford, close to Manchester, in 1967. He probably didn’t envision it becoming a nationwide chain of betting stores back then, let alone an internet phenomenon. Betfred has become one of the biggest sports betting companies in the UK, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Ladbrokes, Coral, and Sky Bet at the top of the food chain. How does it compare to the other big names, though, and is it more deserving of your money than its biggest rivals? That’s for you to decide, but we’ll provide this review to help you make up your mind.

Betfred Welcome Offer
There are two welcome promotions advertised on Betfred’s promotions page, but we’re not going to talk about the one that’s intended for Betfred Casino on account of us having a separate page for that. If you’re joining Betfred with the intention of betting on sports, the offer on the table for you is £50 of free bets in return for depositing £10 and betting it on an event with odds of 2.0 or greater within seven days of opening an account. The £50 is split into £30 of free bets for sportsbook markets and £20 of Bet Builder free bets. The qualifying deposit has to be made directly by debit card, or through Apple Pay or Instant Bank Transfer using a linked debit card, and the free bets expire after seven days. No wagering requirements apply to this bonus.
Ongoing Promotions
Betfred doesn’t have a big, in-house loyalty club for sports bettors, but it does offer Rewards4Racing. Link a Rewards4Racing account to Betfred and you’ll collect one point for every £1 staked on sports, with those points available to spend on racecourse tickets and other racing rewards. Betfred also offers a variety of perks across horse racing, greyhound racing, football, and rugby league. For horse racing enthusiasts, there are several promotions, including “Free Bet if 2nd,” where you can receive a free bet up to £10 if your selection finishes second in selected races. Separate “Money Back as Cash if 2nd or 3rd” offers also appear on selected races, refunding the stake in cash when the qualifying horse finishes in one of those positions. Betfred also has “Extra Place Races” and “Super Extra Place Races” for more potential wins on each-way bets. For those placing accumulator bets on horses or greyhounds, there’s the “Multiply Your Odds” promotion, offering multiplied odds on Lucky 15, 31, and 63 bets. If your selections perform well, cash bonuses are given for full wins with their “Lucky Bonus” and “10% Winning Tricast Bonus.” Additionally, the “Best Odds Guaranteed” ensures you get the best odds on selected UK, Irish, and international horse racing.
For football fans, Betfred offers “Acca Flex,” where cash bonuses now range from 5% to 100% on qualifying accumulators, depending on how many selections you include. If exactly one leg lets you down, you can receive your stake back in cash up to £10. The “Double Delight & Hat-trick Heaven” promotion doubles or triples your first goalscorer odds if the player scores two or three goals, available pre-match and in-play. Greyhound racing also has its own set of promotions, including a “Free Bet Club” and “10% Winning Tricast Bonus,” rewarding bettors for placing multiple bets on selected races. Rugby enthusiasts can enjoy the “Super League Double Delight” for added excitement in the Super League season. Lastly, the “#PickYourPunt” feature allows you to customise your bet on selected events.
What are the Pros and Cons of Betfred?
Pros: If you like getting a little something extra when you’re betting on sports, you’re in good hands with Betfred. They have promotions for almost any occasion, and their sportsbook is as all-encompassing as anything you’re likely to find elsewhere. The other big point that goes in Betfred’s favour is the depth of its customer support options. While it should be a given that any big casino site offers telephone, live chat, and email support, very few of them do. Betfred does, and that makes it stand out.
Cons: The factors we’ve listed above are the benefits of playing at Betfred, but here’s the story on the other side of the fence. There are drawbacks at Betfred, and the biggest is that despite having all those customer support options, the site still manages to attract a surprising number of negative reviews on Trustpilot. From bonuses not being credited to delays with withdrawal processing times, they sometimes have an unhappy player base. The current UKGC record also contains two regulatory issues, including a £900,000 settlement from June 2026 concerning customer interaction controls, and that’s never a good look.
Featured Slots and Casino Games
It wouldn’t be fair to rate Betfred on casino games, online slots, or anything other than sports betting. That’s really not what the casino is about. Betfred Casino and Betfred Bingo exist for a reason, and the reason is that the “main” Betfred site focuses on sports betting and nothing else. Leaving slots and casino games aside, let’s talk about the quality of the Betfred sportsbook.
Betfred didn’t get where it is today without offering odds on almost every type of sporting content in the world. The full A-Z list of sports available for betting at the site is comprehensive, including UFC, MMA, hurling, Gaelic football, Australian rules football, and other sports that you wouldn’t necessarily find offered to you at smaller sports betting sites. Betfred advertises thousands of markets across twenty-one sports, with dedicated areas appearing for the biggest events as they come around. Many of the promotions offered by Betfred can be redeemed across this enormous range, so spicing your bet up is easy.
If there are no real horses running anywhere, you can pass the time at Betfred by betting on virtual horses instead. On top of that, there’s a “49s” game that’s the National Lottery in everything other than the name. The prizes are nowhere near as high as they are in the National Lottery, but the draw works the same way, and there’s still big money to be won.

Withdrawal Methods and Speed
Betfred keeps its withdrawal options fairly simple, but the methods it supports are capable of moving money quickly. Visa and Mastercard withdrawals usually arrive in around four hours, while Instant Bank Payment withdrawals usually take around six hours. BACS is the slower option and can take around three days. Betfred also notes that transactions can take up to forty-eight hours to appear while security and validation checks are being completed, so the quickest quoted times aren’t guaranteed every time.
Customer Support and License
To get in touch with Betfred, players can use live chat, send an email to support@betfred.com or call 0800 028 7747. The telephone service is only available between 8am and 8pm, but even that’s better than the majority of big-name betting services can manage. Too many companies are doing away with telephone support at the moment, so it’s great to see that Betfred still provides it. It’s often the most efficient way of dealing with a query.
Through Petfre (Gibraltar) Limited, Betfred is covered by UK Gambling Commission licence no. 39544. In September 2022, the operator was handed an official warning and a financial penalty of £2.87m after accepting that it had broken conditions of its licence designed to prevent money laundering and ensure that operators behave in a socially responsible manner when interacting with customers. That action is now more than three years old and no longer appears on the current UKGC record. A further £240,000 penalty was issued in May 2025 after a breach of the Commission’s technical standards. In June 2026, Petfre agreed to pay £900,000 in lieu of a financial penalty after a licence review found failings in its remote customer-interaction controls. Those 2025 and 2026 issues remain on the current regulator record. The licence is still in force, and also covers the Betfred sister sites.
Betfred – The Verdict
Betfred remains one of the UK’s strongest all-round sports betting companies. Its promotions cover a huge range of sports, the sportsbook has plenty of depth, and withdrawals can be very quick when you’re using one of the faster methods. Trustpilot is more mixed, sitting at 3.1 out of 5 despite a huge volume of reviews, and the regulatory picture also needs to be taken seriously. The £900,000 settlement agreed in June 2026 over customer-interaction controls is especially recent, while the £240,000 penalty from 2025 is still on the current UKGC record too. Those points stop us from being completely comfortable with recommending it, but they don’t erase the scale of Betfred’s sportsbook, its strong support options or the quality of the promotions available. This is still one of the UK’s better-known and better-equipped betting sites, albeit one with some significant recent marks against its name.

What are players saying about Betfred?
Here are our condensed summaries of recent Betfred reviews from real players.
- 15-Sep-2026 by Tiger: I’ve been trying to get answers for over three weeks, but the same email address keeps ignoring me. I’ve got serious concerns about the games, account closures and the way safer gambling pop-ups are handled. Betfred says it isn’t responsible for the machines because it doesn’t own them, but from my point of view they’re still being offered on its site. I’d tell people to avoid the company. – source: Trustpilot
- 15-Sep-2026 by Harry: I wagered £10 on casino slots because the offer said I’d get free spins, but the bonus never arrived. From my experience, the promotion felt like a scam. – source: Trustpilot
- 15-Sep-2026 by Simo: One of the worst platforms I’ve used. I spent more than £200 chasing a bonus and when it finally landed, it paid about £7.50. Completely pointless for me. – source: Trustpilot
- 14-Sep-2026 by Pan: The VerifyBetfred process felt like a complete scam to me. I’d avoid it. – source: Trustpilot
- 13-Sep-2026 by Michael: The site doesn’t give me enough information and I find it one of the poorer betting platforms I’ve used. The games are dull, and when I’ve got a horse or football bet running I can’t properly see its progress. That makes the whole experience frustrating. – source: Trustpilot
- 13-Sep-2026 by Irina: At the beginning I could still win something now and again, but for quite a while it’s felt like I can’t win anything at all. Based on my experience, I definitely wouldn’t recommend Betfred. – source: Trustpilot
- 13-Sep-2026 by MC: The way free spins are awarded and then made difficult to actually use feels deliberately confusing to me. I think Betfred should spend more time improving the customer experience instead of creating offers that feel misleading and unnecessarily complicated. – source: Trustpilot
- 12-Sep-2026 by Charlie: I’m registered with GamStop but was still able to deposit £1,000. I had open bets and then my account was closed. I tried contacting customer service several times but kept getting cut off. It left me wondering what the point of self-exclusion is if this can still happen. – source: Trustpilot
- 11-Sep-2026 by Sun: Worth zero stars in my opinion. I don’t feel valued as a customer, there are no daily free spins and the site just seems focused on taking money. Easily one of the worst betting sites I’ve used. – source: Trustpilot
- 11-Sep-2026 by Anthony: I got a text on 10 August saying I could bet £10 and receive a free £10 bet for Doncaster. I opted in through the link and placed the qualifying bet, but the free bet never appeared. The old 0800 number no longer worked and the automated chat was no help either. Very frustrating when I’d followed the offer as instructed. – source: Trustpilot
