The first of the Betway sister sites we’re going to list is part of Betway itself. It’s Betway Casino, and it’s worthy of a separate entry because its focus is totally different to that of Betway. Betway is a sports betting company. Betway Casino does just about everything a gambling site could do apart from handling sports bets. It might share web space with Betway, but it’s a totally different animal. Betway Casino has slowly been becoming an ever more important part of the Betway brand since the company made the decision to branch out from sports and start entertaining the idea of competing with other online casinos. It’s now just as big a focus as the sports brand, offers its own bonuses and features, and while it might not be quite so visible in terms of advertising, don’t rule out the idea of seeing the name somewhere prominent soon.
Hippodrome Online
Hippodrome is one of the longest-running names in the market. We’re not talking about its longevity in a strictly online sense – it’s only been on the internet since 2013. Hippodrome’s history stems from the fact that it’s the online presence of a prestigious London venue that first opened as a theatre in 1900, although the casino itself didn’t open until 2012. You can’t buy the kind of history that the Hippodrome has. Hippodrome is the self-proclaimed “UK’s most renowned and classical online casino.” We’re not sure about the “renowned,” but it’s definitely classical. It also offers things that no other online casino can touch, like live dealer games beamed directly from the heart of the real-world Hippodrome Casino in London. It’s hard to compare Hippodrome Online to the other Betway sister sites – it’s in a league of its own.
Spin Casino
There used to be two “second string” Betway sister sites on this platform; Dream Bingo, and Spin Casino. In 2024, everything changed for those two neglected brands. Dream Bingo was packaged up and sold to Jumpman Gaming (who confusingly closed it a few months later), and Spin Casino received a long-overdue overhaul, finally bringing the UK-facing version of the brand in line with the version that’s existed for players elsewhere in Europe for many years. The new Spin Casino is a very different beast than the old one, and is almost a match for Betway Casino when it comes to overall content and quality. It still isn’t the best of the casino options on the Betway Limited platform, though – that goes to the casino we’re looking at next. Still, though, it’s a solid enough brand, and it will give you more of what you like if you’re a fan of the operator.
Jackpot City
Betway Limited did a lot of UK-based players a favour when it brought Jackpot City back to the marketplace in 2023. This was a huge slots and casino site for many years, but when Bayton Limited opted to withdraw from the UK marketplace in 2021 it took Jackpot City with it, and thousands of UK players suddenly found themselves without access to their favourite online casino. We feared that the brand might be gone forever, but Betway surprised everyone by snapping it up and re-launching it with virtually no notice. We’re not actually sure how this deal played out, but Jackpot City is now listed by Super Group as one of its brands internationally as well as being operated by Betway Limited in the UK. It’s not quite the same Jackpot City you remember, but it comes with plenty of great games including some high-quality exclusives.

Customer Support and Licence
As we’ve noted a few times in this review, customer support is a significant weakness at Betway. You have to decline multiple suggested options within the FAQ before you are offered the chance to speak to anybody, and even then, your only option is web chat.
With regards to licensing, Betway is a dual-licenced casino with up-to-date licences from both the UK Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority. The UKGC licence covers all of Betway’s UK sister sites, while the MGA authorisation covers only the domains listed on that licence. The operator’s UK licence hasn’t always been spotless. The company has been disciplined by the regulator twice in the past, with the £11.6m settlement in 2020 being the largest the regulator had ever demanded up to that point. A further £408,915 penalty followed in 2022. Neither action currently appears in the UKGC’s live regulatory-action register because entries are displayed there for three years, but both remain part of Betway’s regulatory history.
Betway – The Verdict
Betway is a massive sports betting site. A lesser brand would have been damaged – perhaps fatally – by that enormous settlement that Betway reached with the UK Gambling Commission in 2020, but Betway seems to have barely broken its stride. It’s a well-rounded site with options for everybody, and it looks modern, sharp, and dynamic. If it strengthened its customer support, it would probably receive better reviews from customers – and also from us.
