Kwiff

Kwiff

Kwiff was the first brand that Eaton Gate Gaming Limited ever came up with, and for a long time, it was also the only brand on the platform. Kwiff was, in fact, the operator’s only brand for such a long time that we thought things would stay that way forever. Known for sports betting, Kwiff is synonymous with its unique “Get Kwiffed” feature, which could see you awarded a boosted win on any of your bets at any given time – or perhaps even a surprise bet on something that your original stake didn’t even cover. It’s a strange kind of bonus, but it gives Kwiff a unique sense of personality. Kwiff is and always will be a sports betting brand, but recent years have seen it add a casino and some casino-specific bonuses and promotions to its portfolio, so it looks like its scope is expanding.

Gold Rush Play

Bearing in mind what we just said about Kwiff and its semi-recent decision to expand into casino games and promotions, was there really any need for Eaton Gate Gaming to add Gold Rush Play to its network in 2025? We’re not convinced, but it’s here as an option anyway. The casino, which also goes by the shorter name of GRP Casino, is basically the casino side of Kwiff rebadged and given a different colour scheme. If you flick between the two websites, you’ll notice that they’re virtually identical. Another way of looking at it would be to say that Gold Rush Play is Kwiff without the sportsbook, so if you’re after a trimmed-back experience and don’t want to get tempted into betting on sports just because the option is there, perhaps GRP Casino could be an option for you. It doesn’t have any unique selling points, though, and it’s very plain.

Slots King

In the paragraph above, we said that we didn’t really see the point of Eaton Gate Gaming launching GRP Casino in 2025. We see even less point to the subsequent addition of Slots King to the sister sites family in 2026. This is another iteration of the same template that runs Kwiff Casino, so it amounts to a third variant of the same site, with nothing changing other than the colour scheme and the logo in the corner. That being said, Slots King is mechanically fine. Withdrawals are processed instantly most of the time, and the quality of the casino’s game portfolio is very high. It’s extremely stingy when it comes to bonuses, though, with a below-par welcome promotion and nothing to follow it up with. Unless you have a burning desire to move on from Kwiff Casino, there’s no real reason to go to Slots King.

About Eaton Gate Gaming Limited

An Overview of Eaton Gate Gaming

Kwiff has established such a solid presence in the UK and European betting markets that it feels like it’s been around forever. It hasn’t, though, and nor has the company behind it. In fact, it’s only recently that Eaton Gate Gaming Limited celebrated a decade in the iGaming industry, having launched in 2015. Kwiff launched almost as soon as its parent company was founded, and the idea behind it was a simple one. The creators of Eaton Gate Gaming felt that the online betting world had become boring, and it needed a new brand with new ideas to come and liven it up. Not only that, but they thought that phones were a better medium for betting than computers. That might sound obvious now, but it was still a revolutionary idea back then.

If you want to know the full story of Eaton Gate Gaming Limited to date, you can get a lot of the basic information from the company’s official website – just bear in mind that it’s all written in its own words, so some of it is hype. You can’t argue with the facts, though, and the facts are that Eaton Gate Gaming started with a single office in London in 2015, and now has offices all over the world. That’s an even more recent development – until 2019, Kwiff was a UK-only brand. Choosing the year before the pandemic happened to start a global expansion could have been terminal, but the operator managed to ride out the storm and turn it into a success.

The Kwiff Affiliate Program

No casino, betting site or iGaming operator can get to the size that Kwiff has through good ideas alone. At least part of the brand’s success can be directly attributed to the affiliate program that Eaton Gate Gaming built for it. Again, the scheme was born out of the idea that the existing iGaming affiliate market was stale and boring in 2015, and there was room for a new company with new concepts. Offering large commission shares always helps attract partners too, of course, and the 50% headline figure that the Kwiff Affiliate Programs ticks that box.

While the affiliate program doesn’t readily publish figures that would tell us how many partners the brand has, how much those partners are paid, or how much money they’ve brought into Eaton Gate Gaming Limited as a result of their activities, the success of the brand speaks for itself. The same can’t be said of Gold Rush Play yet, though. The existing affiliate scheme doesn’t even cover Gold Rush Play, so you couldn’t sign up as a partner and funnel traffic to GRP Casino even if you wanted to.

The Team Behind the Scenes

While Eaton Gate Gaming might have been new to the iGaming marketplace in 2015, the team behind it wasn’t. The three controlling partners of the firm have more than forty years of relevant experience between them, starting with Charles Lee, the company’s Chairman and CEO. His background before starting the company was as a strategic gaming specialist with product development and group strategy responsibilities, with Fitzdares as the most significant name on his resume. He was originally Kwiff’s Head of Sports Betting, but has since been promoted into the big chair.

Then there’s Mike Goode, the Eaton Gate Gaming CFO, who was an experienced financial services professional before he got involved with the betting and casino business. He’s a chartered accountant – useful for his current role – and has held a variety of senior positions at BSkyB in the past. His start in the gambling world came when he was appointed to a senior finance position with GAN Plc in the United States of America, and he’s now responsible for both the financial and strategic management of Eaton Gate.

An iGaming company is nothing without good tech and software, and that’s where Nick Maroudas comes in as CTO. His long CV includes spells with plenty of big-name betting companies including (but not limited to) Paddy Power and Betfair within the Flutter group, and he’s also held senior tech positions with AOL, TalkTalk, and BSkyB in the past, as well as working on tech solutions for the Comic Relief charity. When you use the Kwiff app, you’re interacting directly with software developed by Nick.
