Fitzdares operator – Fitzdares Limited

fitzdares casinos logo

Saying that Fitzdares is a Fitzdares Limited iGaming site might feel a little redundant, but it doesn’t make it any less true. Fitzdares Limited is a casino operator and has a UK Gambling Commission licence to prove it, but Fitzdares is the only brand that it operates. It’s never shown any interest in opening other brands, and it’s very hard to say where Fitzdares stops and Fitzdares Limited begins. In most ways that matter, they’re one and the same entity. While the Fitzdares iGaming website might be the only one that Fitzdares Limited operates, it isn’t the sole business interest of Fitzdares. The company also has its in-person business to consider. The primary Fitzdares Club venue can be found in Belgravia, London, which tells you a lot about the social standing of the people who go there. There’s another one in Naunton Downs, Gloucestershire, plus a third club in the Cotswolds (complete with a golf course) and a pop-up every year at the Cheltenham Festival.

More recently than all of the above, Fitzdares has recently expanded into Canada. It’s yet to open a physical venue in Canada (although one is thought to be in the pipeline), but there’s a slimmed-down version of the Fitzdares website up and running in the North American territory. In addition to all of its gambling enterprises, Fitzdares also publishes “The Fitzdares Times,” which is advertised as “required reading for the discerning gambler.” We believe it’s available in print, although it’s more widely read in its digital format. There are regular columns in the paper about every sport that Fitzdares covers, plus the occasional interview with a star name and, of course, gambling tips.

Fitzdares Sister Sites Welcome Bonuses

Fitzdares thinks of itself as the world’s finest bookmaker. It’s a very bold claim to make, but it makes it right in the middle of its homepage. There’s a real-life Fitzdares Club, and it’s reserved only for the most well-heeled of gamblers. If you’re not one of them, you can make do with the Fitzdares website. It’s a very well-put-together site, but it doesn’t have any welcome promotions to offer. Presumably, Fitzdares Limited doesn’t think that its customers have any need for such a thing. However, not having any welcome promotions doesn’t mean that Fitzdares doesn’t have any promotions at all. It actually has plenty, so let’s move on to looking at them.

Other Promotions

While Fitzdares is known as a sports betting company first and foremost (with a strong emphasis on horse racing), the online version of Fitzdares has both a sportsbook and a full casino – and comes with plenty of promotions for both aspects. We’ll start with the sports betting bonuses.

Clicking on the “offers” link on the Fitzdares homepage takes you directly to the latest sporting offers, of which there were twelve at the time of our visit to the site. They’re mostly small, but they’re effective. You can, for example, win a free bet if a horse you’ve bet on comes in second. You’ll also get a free bet if a darts player you’ve bet on misses match darts and then loses. Fitzdares is a sponsor of Fulham Football Club, so there are enhanced odds and special betting events available for all Fulham games. Sticking with football, bets are refunded on Champions League fixtures that finish 0-0 (unless, of course, that’s the result you wagered on). From 10% cashback on losses while betting on tennis to a free bet if you bet on a football team that narrowly loses to Manchester City or Liverpool, Fitzdares has a plethora of unusual but original perks. Loyal players also receive free bets every week.

Over on the casino side of things, there are small promotions available every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Every £10 spent on live casino games on Tuesday earns players an entry to a raffle that takes place the following day. Players who play slots on Wednesdays receive ten free spins for every £50 they spend, up to a maximum of one hundred spins. The Friday promotion is a “weekend recharge,” which sees players a £5 casino bonus for every £100 spent inside the Fitzdares casino during the previous seven days. The maximum applicable bonus with this offer is £100.

Top Games at Fitzdares

At the risk of repeating ourselves once too often, Fitzdares is all about sports betting. It prioritises horse racing, football betting, cricket betting and golf betting, all of which have their own dedicated areas on the website. As such, Fitzdares can be considered the most quintessentially British of bookmakers. That’s by no means a full list of all the sports that the site offers odds on, though – every major sport is covered in detail, and betting on politics is also possible. If you want to know what the top games at Fitzdares are, though, we need to step away from sports betting and find out what’s available within the Fitzdares Casino. Here are the top three games at Fitzdares as of the time of our visit to the site to write this review.

Blackjack: The fact that live dealer games get as much (if not more) focus as slots is entirely in keeping with the style of Fitzdares, which is as traditional as it is upmarket. That even goes as far as referring to the casino section of the site as the “F Club Casino.” The top game listed on the homepage is blackjack. It’s a Fitzdares-branded but basic version of the card game and doesn’t come with any features other than those you’d expect a blackjack game to have. With nothing more to say about it, we’ll move on.

King Kong Cashpots: King Kong Cash, which takes healthy doses of inspiration from the King Kong movies of the past, comes from Blueprint. If you know your slots, you’ll know that means the game is piled high with bonuses. This good-looking five-reeler is a 2021 release and is notable for its sudden instant wins, which could pay out up to x1000 against your stake at any time. Multipliers within the King Kong Cash free spins feature can go as high as x5, and the slot has access to three different progressive jackpots. There’s also a prize-picker bonus for added variety. RTP in King Kong Cashpots is 95.49%, and volatility is average.

Gold Cash Free Spins: There’s a lot more to Gold Cash Free Spins than meets the eye. This Inspired Gaming release from 2020 looks like it’s going to be fairly basic, but it won’t take you long to notice how volatile it is. Whether you think that’s a good thing or a bad thing when paired with 95% RTP depends on your playing style, but there’s no denying that it has plenty of potential for a slots game that’s so easy to pick up and play. The gamble feature in this slot is especially potent, offering players the chance to increase the number of free spins they receive (or lose the whole lot) every time they trigger the feature. The same gamble feature can be applied to every single win if players so desire, and expanding symbols make wins a little easier to come by within the bonuses. It looks a little scruffy, but it plays fine.

The presence of the blackjack game should be enough to confirm that F Club Casino has plenty of live dealer games, but just in case you needed reassurance – yes, there are lots. There’s also a dedicated page for Megaways slots, several table game simulators for players who don’t want to face real dealers and another dedicated area for brand-new slots and games. Pleasingly, Fitzdares also makes it easy for players to set limits by including a link to the option right next to the gaming category menu options.

Customer Support and Licensing

As you’d expect from such a high-prestige brand, Fitzdares makes it easy for players to get in contact as and when they need to. The number to call is 0207 851 5407, but there’s also a live chat facility. If you don’t want to use either of those options, you can text 07492 882213 or email [email protected] Fitzdares would much prefer its players to download its app, but the desktop site still works in much the same way. The licence that covers Fitzdares is held by Fitzdares Limited with the UK Gambling Commission under account number 400. There aren’t any fines, warnings or other reprimands on the operator’s record with the UKGC.

Withdrawal Speed and Support

The withdrawal process is an area where Fitzdares is hampered a little by being so traditional. You won’t find any support for e-wallets at Fitzdares, and nor is there any way of using an intermediary service like Trustly. Instead, players are restricted to debit cards only. There isn’t a banking or payments page on the Fitzdares website, and despite browsing the entire terms and conditions, we can’t find any information on processing times for withdrawal requests. We can’t say how long players might have to wait for their money from Fitzdares after requesting it, which isn’t an ideal state of affairs.

Final Thoughts on Fitzdares

If we were to assume that Fitzdares is capable of providing instant withdrawals, we’d rate it as an excellent iGaming site. We can’t make that assumption, though, because there are no grounds for doing so. What we can say is that every other aspect of the site is of superb quality. The sportsbook is enormous, the casino is well-stocked, and while the lack of a welcome promotion is a mild disappointment, the sheer number of other promotions that Fitzdares offers makes up for it. The strength of the site’s customer support is also strong. Adding a payments page and perhaps a few more withdrawal options would make this a world-class site.

Fitzdares Sister Sites Player Reviews

Here are the thoughts of your fellow players about Fitzdares. The reviews are all real, but we’ve paraphrased them to keep them brief.

★★★★★
My advice would be not to use the Fitzdares website. I loved it when I was new to it because I appreciated the personal approach it takes, but it slowly got worse over time. I had a dispute about a bet that I wanted to take to IBAS, but Fitzdares locked me out of my account. When things go wrong, they stop responding. Adam, April 6th 2023. Source – Trustpilot.

★★★★★
I asked for a withdrawal via e-transfer, and I received it within one minute. Customer service is excellent, and the selection of games is great, too. I find the odds are better here than they are at other sports betting sites. Chimo, April 2nd 2023. Source – Trustpilot.

★★★★
Here are my honest thoughts on Fitzdares. Things were OK at first, even if the app was a bit slow. Customer service was good at first too, but I’ve found that the staff have become very abrupt and rude recently. My account was suspended without any warning or even an email to inform me. I discussed this with someone at Fitzdares and was told to make a complaint, with the assurance that complaining wouldn’t mean my account would be closed. I made the complaint, and they closed my account. Absolutely disgraceful conduct.Paul, April 1st 2023. Source – Trustpilot.

★★★★★
I haven’t been with Fitzdares for long, but I’m very happy so far. Payouts are very fast, and I haven’t been asked for as many documents as I’m asked for at other sites. I think the RTP on the slots is better than average. I’d recommend it way above most of the big-name casinos out there. Will, March 13th 2023. Source – Trustpilot.

★★★★
Save yourself the bother – Fitzdares isn’t worth playing at. Customer service has been poor, and when wins finally happen, you’re suddenly asked for loads of documents. My stakes have now been restricted to almost nothing until I send them everything they’re asking for. I’m not going to bother.Gavs, March 9th 2023. Source – Trustpilot.
