Opinions will vary about whether or not the UK betting scene truly needs any more brands. Stakewise is, at its very core, a simple betting site. If you’re expecting it to blow you away with massive bonuses, you’re missing the point. Having said that, there are little welcome promotions for newcomers. The main event at Stakewise is horse racing, and specifically UK and Irish horse racing. No matter what else might be happening in the sports world at the time of your visit, that’s the first set of odds you’ll see on the Stakewise landing page. We actually wrote this review during the World Cup, and even that didn’t manage to dislodge the racing odds. Greyhound racing gets second billing to horse racing, followed by football in third place and tennis in fourth. Stakewise – The Verdict

Stakewise adds a new brand and website to the UK’s crowded sports betting scene, but we don’t think it adds any new features or experiences to it. There’s nothing wrong with it in terms of how it’s put together or what it offers – it’s just that there’s nothing going on at Stakewise that would make us excited about the idea of betting here compared to any one of the ten or more bookies we already have on rotation. The foundations are solid enough, but Stakewise is going to have to add to them significantly if it wants to capture enough of a market share to survive.
